Summary: A belated apology
Narcissa removed the bottle from Livvie’s pursed mouth and expertly raised the baby to her shoulder. After only a few pats, Livvie made a rude noise.
Draco smiled as he retrieved the bottle and took it to the sink. “You haven’t lost your touch, Mum.”
“I only hope she doesn’t spit up on me, as you were wont to do.”
“I did not,” Draco sputtered in automatic protest.
His mother raised one perfect brow.
Draco’s shoulders hunched. “I apologize for spitting up on you, Mum.”
“Why apologize today?” she asked. “You should have done so when you were an infant.”
