“Walk, don’t run,” Harry scolded as his daughter dashed past him on her way through the lounge.
Lina skidded to a halt. “But, Daddy, I was playing with Velvet, and she ranned away.”
Harry winced on behalf of their beleaguered cat. “Were you trying to dress her up again?” Lina liked to dress Velvet in doll clothes.
“No-o,” Lina replied, not meeting Harry’s eyes.
He sighed. “Kitties need a lot of sleep, sweetie. Maybe Velvet went upstairs to snooze.”
Draco appeared in the lounge with the cat in his arms. “Lily Narcissa, did you put this blue dress on Velvet?”
