Had a dream that there was an enemy in deltarune chapter 5 called Lady Karasu that NOBODY online was talking about for some reason. She was like Tasque Manager but for KawKaws. I decided to draw her from memory

they should make deltarune merch that is a flowery body pillow except the pillow comes pre-installed with a voice box and it comes with separate instructions written by ralsei on how to surgically remove the voice box from your flowery body pillow

funniest part of undertale/deltarune being inspired by earthbound/mother 3 is that at the end of mother 3 all the characters turn to you, the player, and say thank you for playing our game! thank you for helping us! thank you for talking to us! we love you! please take care of yourself! please take a rest! please love yourself! and in deltarune chapter 4 kris beats you with a hockey stick

more on the topic of toriel-tenna parallels: as a few people pointed out in this post as well, i really feel like people forget that toriel herself is a very nostalgic person too, not just asgore. i think that's because people take her not being interested in rekindling her relationship with asgore as her having no attachments to the past, but that's not true.

(side note: notice how the latter two screenshots are brought up later in tenna's quizzes! granted, the green lizard will lead you to the wrong answer, but still)

and here's where i talk about what i think might be THE biggest parallel between them: both of them are some of the few people who recognize that something is off about kris but neither of them know how to really approach it. they can only connect to them by bringing up memories from their childhood, because the kris that they know is their child self and not what kris has become today. toriel still holds kris's hand to school as though they're a young child and not a teenager who can go to school themself. tenna tries to get kris to indulge in games they used to play and shows the family used to watch but doesn't understand that escapism doesn't work for them, at least not anymore (if we're assuming that kris at one point used tenna to distract themself from the fights between toriel and asgore)
