Particularly: “Etymology needs to be updated by a user more experienced with Albanian”) Perhaps from Proto-Albanian *ϑau-, from Proto-Indo-European *seh₂us- (dry, arid).[1] Oryol relates the term to Lithuanian saũsas, Marrgu sōr, and Ancient Greek αὖος (aûos).[2]
