Vilius Gaubas (born 29 December 2004) is a Lithuanian professional tennis player. He has a career-high ATP singles ranking of No. 101 achieved on 2 March 2026 and a career-high doubles ranking of No. 1,000 achieved on 30 March 2026. He is currently the No. 1 men's singles player from Lithuania.[2]

Gaubas represents Lithuania at the Davis Cup, where he has a W–L record of 7–10 record in singles and in doubles.[3][4]
Career

editFollowing his second Challenger title at the newly established 2025 Open Menorca, he reached the top 150 at world No. 149 on 7 April 2025.[7][8][9]
Ranked No. 154, Gaubas made his ATP and Masters 1000 main draw debut in Rome at the 2025 Italian Open after qualifying for the main draw[10][11] and defeated Damir Džumhur, recording his first Masters and also top 100 win.[12][13] Next he upset 27th seed Denis Shapovalov in straight sets, his first top 50 and top 30 win, to reach the third round of an ATP tournament for the first time in his career.[14] He became the first Lithuanian male player to reach that stage at a Masters 1000.[15][16]
Gaubas reached the top 105 at world No. 101 on 2 March 2026. Two months later, he made his Grand Slam debut as a lucky loser at the 2026 French Open, following the withdrawal of Patrick Kypson but lost to Luca Van Assche.[17]
