Thank you for adding those citations. I planned to add them on their behalf but got distracted... until your edits appeared in my watchlist as a reminder ;) TonySt 04:23, 14 July 2026 (UTC)Reply

England vs Argentina

edit

Hello. I'm sorry, I had no intention of vandalizing anything. I also wrote on the talk page that I thought it would be better to use the countries' coats of arms or flags instead of images. SerdarBar (talk) 19:39, 15 July 2026 (UTC)Reply

@SerdarBar: Don't worry, the article wasn't protected because of your edit, but because of some of the edits before yours. Yue🌙 (talk) 19:50, 15 July 2026 (UTC)Reply

DYK for Flag of Saint Pierre and Miquelon

edit

On 17 July 2026, Did you know was updated with a fact from the article Flag of Saint Pierre and Miquelon, which you recently created, substantially expanded, or brought to good article status. The fact was ... that the emoji of the unofficial flag of Saint Pierre and Miquelon (pictured) is often used online by Basques because it features the flag of the Basque Country, which does not have its own emoji? The nomination discussion and review may be seen at Template:Did you know nominations/Flag of Saint Pierre and Miquelon. You are welcome to check how many pageviews the nominated article or articles got while on the front page (Flag of Saint Pierre and Miquelon), and the hook may be added to the statistics page after its run on the Main Page has completed. Finally, if you know of an interesting fact from another recently created article, then please feel free to nominate it.

Your template protections

edit

Hi Yue, congratulations on your recent GAs!

I recently pinged you at RfPP and you lowered the protection for one of the templates but I was referring to the other template, {{uw-llmblock}}. uw-pablock has been used a lot under its previous alias, uw-aoablock, so I think that protection of it is OK, but llmblock doesn't need it. Could you please remove your protection or let me unprotect it? Thanks, Sdrqaz (talk) 15:50, 17 July 2026 (UTC)Reply

@Sdrqaz: I saw your comment and changed protection settings for the wrong template. Whoops! Fixed. Yue🌙 (talk) 20:13, 17 July 2026 (UTC)Reply
Thanks, but was it intentional for you to use semi-protection? As I said at RfPP, the template has been used once. Sdrqaz (talk) 20:34, 17 July 2026 (UTC)Reply
@Sdrqaz: No; fixed again. Yue🌙 (talk) 20:38, 17 July 2026 (UTC)Reply

Articles for Creation backlog drive

edit

Hello Yue:

WikiProject Articles for creation is holding a month long Backlog Drive in August!
The goal of this drive is to reduce the backlog of unreviewed drafts to less than a month of outstanding reviews from the current 3+ months. Bonus points will be given for reviewing drafts that have been waiting more than 30 days. The drive is running from 1 August 2026 through 31 August 2026.

You may find Category:AfC pending submissions by age or other categories and sorting helpful.

Barnstars will be given out as awards at the end of the drive.
There is a backlog of over 5000 pages, so start reviewing drafts. We're looking forward to your help! MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 00:38, 19 July 2026 (UTC)Reply

User mistargeting with CPVI

edit

Hey, what do I do if I suspect a user is not being nearly careful enough with CPVI? Jerod Lycett (talk) 08:24, 20 July 2026 (UTC)Reply

@Jerodlycett: Give a friendly reminder, which I did. Yue🌙 (talk) 08:30, 20 July 2026 (UTC)Reply
