Precious Achiuwa edits

edit

Hello, the edits made were valid.

Precious Achiuwa’s hometown is The Bronx, New York as listed on recruiting websites. It’s where he lived from 8th grade on and as another previous source states he considers himself a New Yorker. Port Harcourt, Nigeria is his birth place.

Also, his high school Our Savior Lutheran is located in Centereach not the Bronx. It is stated later in the article his school was in Centereach and that should be consistent. 65.254.23.2 (talk) 02:11, 31 December 2023 (UTC)Reply

I am not removing the notice. I am asking u to check in AI checker for LLM text if any after I updated. Received my information on into the spider verse

edit

I don’t understand why you just removed my contribution information for the Wikipedia page of the film in the summary section of Into the Spider-Verse. I felt that was unfair and frankly a bit rude to just erase my information like that, when I specifically put my reasonings and even said I was going to add a citation which I was about to until I saw that you removed my information which I’m unhappy about. Rj 8899 (talk) 06:11, 16 March 2026 (UTC)Reply

Using words like "widespread acclaim" and "innovative" fall under the category of words to avoid, in MOS:WTW, and generally don't hold a neutral point of view, as per WP:NPOV.
As per your claim that it was widely recognized as one of the greatest films of all time, this should be based on comments from multiple sources for which you can cite them. pipe058Talk * Contribs 06:18, 16 March 2026 (UTC)Reply
I get where you’re coming from, but I have to beg to differ on that, because those are neutral, because they are actual facts to what the film received and the innovative part is especially a neutral thing too because it’s referring to the animation industry and there’s even information already said in the page that backs up that information saying words similar to innovative and widespread acclaim regarding the film and its success in the animation industry. Rj 8899 (talk) 06:23, 16 March 2026 (UTC)Reply
Thanks for letting me know. I see what you mean now by innovative, so as for now I will attach a citations needed tag until you can provide multiple sources to back up this claim.
Keep in mind that all information must have its own citations and cannot rely on information already in Wikipedia articles. pipe058Talk * Contribs 06:31, 16 March 2026 (UTC)Reply

Neutrality

edit

I recently noticed you undid my edits on Audacity and Ray Comfort. Could you explain why you did that, and the reasoning behind that? The Conservative Journalist (talk) 20:38, 16 March 2026 (UTC)Reply

I would tell you about NPOV violations in your content, but after reading your work, and seeing "Here is an expanded Wikipedia-style Early life section for Ray Comfort:" in your content, I've ran your work through an LLM detector and see most of your work is partially or completely written by an AI model. pipe058Talk * Contribs 20:46, 16 March 2026 (UTC)Reply
That was written by me, not AI. And AI detectors are not accurate. Now, you better make sure you are doing the right thing. The Conservative Journalist (talk) 21:23, 16 March 2026 (UTC)Reply
I'd like to believe you wrote it, but when multiple of your large edits trip multiple different detectors, it becomes hard to believe you wrote it.
Either way, your edits, such as to Audacity (audio editor) and Ray Comfort contain content that doesn't align with the neutral point of view Wikipedia articles should have. Consider reading WP:NPOV, MOS:WTW, WP:CITE, WP:V and WP:PROMO in order to ensure the neutrality and verifiability of your content. pipe058Talk * Contribs 21:31, 16 March 2026 (UTC)Reply
I agree 100% with pipe058. It's patently obvious that these were LLM-written, without needing to consult an LLM detector. And that's before the fact that you left in a message from the LLM in one of your edits. If you stop using LLMs going forward, there probably won't be any issues. Regulation

edit

Hello. I received your message regarding the edit I made on the Regulation. Thank you for your message. You obviously made a mistake. There was a missing definite article in the phrase "in economy." It makes no sense in standard English. I only added "the" to make it grammatically accurate. How is that not constructive?

If the phrase had been "in economics,"it would have been correct. But "in economy" is grammatically incorrect. I mean, isn't this obvious? Kasriski (talk) 07:32, 19 March 2026 (UTC)Reply

@Kasriski Thanks for letting me know. While "in economy" isn't right, "the economy" also isn't right as it would refer to a specific economy, not the study/application of it. I have replaced it with in economics, per your suggestion. pipe058Talk * Contribs 07:35, 19 March 2026 (UTC)Reply

Benito Juarez 3/29/26

edit

I made a minor edit to the opening paragraph in Benito Juarez’s Biography. There was no space between 26th and president, so it read Juarez was the 26th president of Mexico. I just added a space so it read “26th president” instead of “26thpresident.” You reverted my edit because you thought I was practicing and suggested I use the sandbox for that. I accidentally added an extra space and it changed the format. That’s why there are like 2 edits one right after the other. I applied my edit again to Benito Juarez and corrcted another sentence with the same issue : lack of spaces. I made the mistake of editing with no edit summary. In the future I will provide an edit summary with my edits so my intent is clear. Thanks for your consideration. ~2026-17249-59 (talk) 01:19, 30 March 2026 (UTC)Reply

@~2026-17249-59 thanks for letting me know but I have just checked the history for the page and there seems to have been a space there? I'm not sure if this is an issue with how it is displayed for you but it's fine now. pipe058Talk * Contribs 01:22, 30 March 2026 (UTC)Reply
I applied my edit, including an edit summary. Spaces showed when I was editing, might be a computer glitch. All I had to do was delete the space and then add it, and the spaces were applied. ~2026-17249-59 (talk) 01:26, 30 March 2026 (UTC)Reply
@~2026-17249-59 Either way, there is a space in the correct spot now. If it doesn't show up for you that's almost definitely something on your end. pipe058Talk * Contribs 01:30, 30 March 2026 (UTC)Reply

I think the difference between saying it's pronounced one way, and saying it's pronounced in any slang way is difference enough to be noted. Rollback granted

edit

Hi Pipe058. After reviewing your request, I have enabled rollback on your account. Please keep the following things in mind while using rollback:

  • Being granted rollback is no more momentous than installing Twinkle or Ultraviolet. It just adds a [rollback] button next to a page's latest live revision. It does not grant you any additional "status" on Wikipedia, nor does it change how Wikipedia policies apply to you.
  • Rollback should be used to revert clear and unambiguous cases of vandalism only. Never use rollback to revert good faith edits. For more information about when rollback is appropriate, see Wikipedia:Rollback § When to use rollback.
  • Rollback should never be used to edit war, and it should never be used in a content-related dispute to restore the page to your preferred revision. If rollback is abused or used for this purpose or any other inappropriate purpose, the permission will be revoked.
  • Use common sense. If you're not sure about something, ask!

I'm sure you'll do great with rollback, and feel free to leave me a message on my talk page if you run into trouble or have any questions about appropriate use of rollback. If you no longer want rollback, contact me and I'll remove it. For information on rollback, see Wikipedia:Administrators' guide/Rollback (even though you're not an admin) and Wikipedia:Rollback. Good luck and thanks! * Pppery * it has begun... 21:48, 16 April 2026 (UTC)Reply

Rapid warning escalation on User talk:~2026-24132-68

edit

Hello Pipe058. I was looking over recent edits and noticed your interaction with the IP editor regarding the Ty Mueller article.

While enforcing WP:BLP policy is certainly important, I wanted to point out that escalating from a Level 1 notice to a Level 3 block warning in the span of just nine minutes (12:58 am to 1:07 am) is unhelpful and overly aggressive. It does not give a new or unregistered editor any realistic amount of time to see the first message, figure out what went wrong, and provide the sources—which they actually did manage to do just a minute later at 1:08 am.

Rapidly climbing the warning ladder like this goes against the spirit of WP:BITE and WP:AGF. In the future, please give editors a reasonable window of time to respond to an initial notice before jumping straight to severe warnings. Thank you. Owl.Haworth (talk) 05:16, 19 April 2026 (UTC)Reply

Hello, Thanks for letting me know. I did realize my mistake (after thinking these were three separate editors and pages) and helped the editor correctly add in their information, but I will make sure to pay more attention to warning users making constructive edits. about the Eisenhower High School page

edit

hey friend, thank you extremely much for fixing Instead of deleting my edit, i worked hard on it and im very happy someone took time to do that wonderful thing, if you possibly can, can you also take time to look at the new edit I made to the Eisenhower page, if you can possibly do the the same thing with not deleting it, But correcting it that would be the best thing ever, i'm pretty sure I have it all corrected, and okay? Because I added information and made sure to make the new eisenhower The priority Royknobel (talk) 09:44, 6 May 2026 (UTC)Reply

I also won't edit the eisenhower page anymore. But I just wanted to be really helpful Royknobel (talk) 09:49, 6 May 2026 (UTC)Reply
@Royknobel You're welcome! I'm happy to work over your new edits (which I'm in the process of doing now). I will try my best to keep all the content but sometimes the best way to go about fixing things is just removing them altogether. You're also free to keep editing the page if you'd like! Just because you've made a few mistakes in the past, you shouldn't feel the need to stop editing all together. Thanks for your contributions and happy editing! pipe058Talk * Contribs 17:18, 6 May 2026 (UTC)Reply

You may be eligible to vote in the U4C election

edit

I am contacting you because you previously voted in elections related to the Universal Code of Conduct Coordinating Committee (U4C). You may be eligible to vote in the current U4C election, which is open now and closes on 2 June 2026. You can find out more about the candidates and the election on the election page on Meta, and from there you can access the vote itself. Your participation in these elections is important to the governance of Wikimedia communities, and your time spent learning about the candidates and voting is appreciated.
