Question from Upittbradford (12:56, 4 June 2026)
edit- Note: Upittbradford's mentor Firefangledfeathers is away.
Hello, could you tell me where the information for the "Generated from: Infobox university" is drawn from? I wanted to update some information on this page, the University of Pittsburgh Bradford. --Upittbradford (talk) 12:56, 4 June 2026 (UTC)
- Hi, Upittbradford, and welcome! Infoboxes are templates used to make the sections on the side of the page with basic information about something, in this case universities. That help link can tell you more about how to use them, but if you have any more specific questions feel free to ask and I'll help however I can.
- You should know though that your username doesn't comply with the username policy. Usernames are meant for individuals, rather than organizations, so a name like "[Name] at Upittbradford" is fine but the organization as a whole is not, and your account might end up blocked until you change it. You can request a username change at Wikipedia:Changing username/Simple. Our conflict of interest guideline is probably worth a read too for such a situation.
- And sorry as well for my delay, it's been a busy weekend! Let me know if you have any more questions, and happy editing, Perfect4th (talk) 15:40, 6 June 2026 (UTC)
- Thank you, I requested a name change. Upittbradford (talk) 13:19, 15 June 2026 (UTC)
Question from LadyshawtyCme (02:50, 8 June 2026)
editHello.. I really do not want to re write anything.. I have information about a malicious app in my phone.. and I was researching on how to destroy it completely.. it is harmful and causing my phone system UI for my phone security and my utube music app to stop and keep telling me to shut it down.. my phone has been hacked by cyber criminals 2 years ago.. I need information on how to disable it and get the HTTP completely out .. thank you for helping me . My Google sent me here.. --LadyshawtyCme (talk) 02:50, 8 June 2026 (UTC)
- Hi LadyshawtyCme! Unfortunately I can't help with phone security, as I'm just here in case people have questions about editing Wikipedia. General knowledge questions can be asked at the Reference Desk, but I suspect you'll need to look for off-Wikipedia help for that issue. Do let me know if you have any editing questions, and best of luck, Perfect4th (talk) 07:38, 8 June 2026 (UTC)

What should I edit?
editHello its me Lutitium(your apprentice) again. I have been largely inactive on Wikipedia lately and I have been longing to make another article though I am practically out of motivation. So what should I do?
anyways, bye:D Lutitium (talk) 07:33, 13 June 2026 (UTC)
- Hi again Lutitium, always good to hear from you! I've found myself inactive recently too (as you may have noticed), I've been working a lot more and haven't had much time for Wikipedia myself. If you're looking for article ideas, you can always peruse categories in Wikipedia:Requested articles that interest you; if you would prefer smaller tasks due to motivation reasons, you can swing by the Task Center. My personal favorite small tasks are de-orphaning and tackling the Typo Team project when they've recently begun a new letter and there are simple ones left. Hope those ideas are helpful, and happy editing! Feel free to come by again anytime :) Perfect4th (talk) 06:11, 18 June 2026 (UTC)
- Thank you! You again have the perfect(pun intended) reply :D Lutitium (talk) 10:43, 18 June 2026 (UTC)
Question from AnthonyDavidVernon (03:49, 17 June 2026)
editHey just curious do you know how to add past edits to your wikipedia account. I did some edits with a temporary account but I thought I should take the time to edit more regularly.
Here is the former account user name: ~2026-14964-40
I work currently as an adjunct professor of philosophy and I will look for topics to contribute to in mild manners. --AnthonyDavidVernon (talk) 03:49, 17 June 2026 (UTC)
- @Perfect4th just want to make sure you are ok me claiming this user? They have requested me to claim them upon offering. Please ping in a reply. In solidarity Dafootballguy Want to talk? 04:02, 17 June 2026 (UTC)
- Yep this is the case! Hope you are cool with that? AnthonyDavidVernon (talk) 04:06, 17 June 2026 (UTC)
- Hi AnthonyDavidVernon and Dafootballguy! To answer your second question first, be my guest – I've been inactive of late due to real life events so getting another mentor will probably be helpful. And AnthonyDavidVernon, you can link the former (temporary) account on your userpage, as you've done, but there is unfortunately no technical way of merging/adding edits from your past accounts. Hope this helps, and feel free to drop by again if you like (and don't mind waiting a little longer)! Happy editing, Perfect4th (talk) 06:11, 18 June 2026 (UTC)
