What Gives?

Hey, you got my articles for those Lewis Capaldi songs deleted and reverted back to redirects. What gives? They might not have any the proper info or other things that's needed, but they're still certified. Isn't that not enough already to establish notability? The guideline at Wikipedia: Notability (songs) is that songs require a minimum level of material and coverage to have their own articles. I inspected these pages as part of Wikipedia:New pages patrol and I submitted them for review by other editors at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Maybe (Lewis Capaldi song). The consensus from editors in the discussion is that these songs do not meet the threshold for notability for standalone articles. 🌊PacificDepths (talk | contrib) 09:28, 3 July 2026 (UTC)

Articles for Creation backlog drive

Hello PacificDepths:

WikiProject Articles for creation is holding a month long Backlog Drive in August!
The goal of this drive is to reduce the backlog of unreviewed drafts to less than a month of outstanding reviews from the current 3+ months. Bonus points will be given for reviewing drafts that have been waiting more than 30 days. The drive is running from 1 August 2026 through 31 August 2026.

You may find Category:AfC pending submissions by age or other categories and sorting helpful.

Barnstars will be given out as awards at the end of the drive.
