Indefinite semi‑protection of Lorem ipsum

edit

Hi there,

I’ve noticed you've semi-protected Lorem ipsum indefinitely on 20 May, but the revision history shows only three reverted edits in the last two weeks. Since there is no long‑term pattern of "persistent" vandalism, I was wondering if an indefinite protection might be necessary, especially for a first-time protection of a non-controversial topic.

Would you be open to reviewing and lifting the protection?

Thanks for your time. — ««« SOME GADGET GEEK »»» (talk) 15:48, 22 May 2026 (UTC)Reply

@Some Gadget Geek: Changed to PC for three months to test if long-term protection is needed. Probably overkill the first time, but I made the judgement call based on the fact that edits to the article by new and anonymous users have almost exclusively been vandalism.
