Thailand non-resident ambassador categories
editIf you do get to the Thai ambassadors category, please note that I previously attempted to introduce what I think is a more logical organisation to the category by grouping the dual-accredited ambassadorships by assignment. So Thai ambassadors to Switzerland who are dual-accredited to the Holy See and Liechtenstein are currently under Category:Ambassadors of Thailand to Switzerland, the Holy See and Liechtenstein, which is subcategorised under Category:Ambassadors of Thailand to Switzerland, Category:Ambassadors of Thailand to the Holy See and Category:Ambassadors of Thailand to Liechtenstein. To delete the non-resident ambassador categories, one should nominate Category:Ambassadors of Thailand to the Holy See and Category:Ambassadors of Thailand to Liechtenstein for deletion, and nominate Category:Ambassadors of Thailand to Switzerland, the Holy See and Liechtenstein for merging to Category:Ambassadors of Thailand to Switzerland. See User talk:Paul_012#Categories for past discussion. --Paul_012 (talk) 09:37, 4 April 2026 (UTC)
- @Paul 012 Apologies, I just realised I didn't reply. I think I typed a message and left the tab without sending. That's an interesting idea to combine the posts in a single category. It's certainly superior to the ridiculous practice of adding individual categories for each country an ambassador is accredited to, particularly when in some cases such as Caribbean or Pacific states it can be dozens and dozens. It might be worthy of some kind of centralised discussion to decide if we should adopt such a practice for all countries. AusLondonder (talk) 05:31, 19 April 2026 (UTC)
Hello
editHey, I have improved the Embassy of Palestine, Astana. Now, is it possible to avoid the deletion of the article. TheGreatEditor024 (talk) 13:02, 17 April 2026 (UTC)
- I have removed the deletion template and have placed my objection in the article talk page. TheGreatEditor024 (talk) 02:46, 18 April 2026 (UTC)
- @TheGreatEditor024 No problem. I am a bit concerned as to whether the sources are reliable or secondary and provide in-depth coverage of the embassy itself. AusLondonder (talk) 02:52, 18 April 2026 (UTC)
- So, Is it now safe from deletion TheGreatEditor024 (talk) 04:31, 18 April 2026 (UTC)
- @TheGreatEditor024 At the moment, yes. It could still be nominated for deletion through WP:AFD. AusLondonder (talk) 05:27, 19 April 2026 (UTC)

In theory she is notable, so I redirected this as an ATD. Bearian (talk) 18:35, 19 April 2026 (UTC)
I think someone wants to contest this proposed deletion, but didn't complete the process. The only source is a local Who's Who, which hasn't been reliable since 1983. Do you want to send it to WP:AfD? Bearian (talk) 21:08, 21 April 2026 (UTC)
Notable or not? Bearian (talk) 17:37, 24 April 2026 (UTC)
