Your doppelganger
editConfirming before possibly blocking: is User:45dogo really your doppelganger account or did someone else create that? ~Anachronist (who / me) (talk) 20:53, 2 July 2026 (UTC)
- Not mine. I don't create doppelganger accounts, at least not at this time. 45dogs (they/them) (talk page) (contributions) 23:05, 2 July 2026 (UTC)
- OK, it's been blocked (someone else got to it first) along with 45degs. ~Anachronist (who / me) (talk) 04:33, 3 July 2026 (UTC)
Please notice that I used my time to write on the article Squirrel Stapler and I'm using the knowledge I know. so 45dogs please consider that before you delete my comment. — Preceding unsigned comment added by ~2026-37800-47 (talk) 13:55, 6 July 2026 (UTC)
- Hi ~2026-37800-47. I have not deleted any comments of yours. But the article you are trying to make doesn't have any sources. Verifiability is one of Wikipedia's core principles, and importantly for an article to survive it needs to be considered notable due to sufficient reference in reliable, independent, and secondary sources with sufficient significant coverage. 45dogs (they/them) (talk page) (contributions) 15:20, 6 July 2026 (UTC)
- 45dogs i am aware that i didn't give out reliable sources please take notice that i have very little knowledge of the game and i am using the knowledge that i have. — Preceding unsigned comment added by ~2026-37800-47 (talk) 18:20, 6 July 2026 (UTC)
- You do not need knowledge of the game to write an article on it. What you need are sources. 45dogs (they/them) (talk page) (contributions) 00:47, 7 July 2026 (UTC)
- 45dogs I am sorry for mistaking that having knowledge was the only thing needed to write a Wikipedia page, but I necessarily don't know how to create a source on Wikipedia since I'm a new user of Wikipedia but if you could help me that would be very considerate of you — Preceding unsigned comment added by ~2026-37800-47 (talk) 02:11, 7 July 2026 (UTC)
- You need to find a source rather than create one. A source just refers to a source of information. For instance, reviews by proper gaming outlets on Squirrel Stapler would help to show the notability of it. But user reviews on steam or elsewhere wouldn't. You may be interested in a guide on referencing. I would also recommend creating the page through the AFC draft process rather than directly in mainspace, as you can get reviews and advice from other editors more easily. You can also create a draft directly at Draft:Squirrel Stapler. 45dogs (they/them) (talk page) (contributions) 02:19, 7 July 2026 (UTC)
- The information I got was mainly from playing the game, Squirrel Stapler so I got knowledge from actual gameplay itself but also the Squirrel Stapler page on fandom.com — Preceding unsigned comment added by ~2026-37800-47 (talk) 02:29, 7 July 2026 (UTC)
- Fandom is user generated, and so is considered unusable as a source. 45dogs (they/them) (talk page) (contributions) 02:31, 7 July 2026 (UTC)
- So, if I were to use knowledge from fandom.com and put it on the draft you're saying that it would be an unreliable source? — Preceding unsigned comment added by ~2026-37800-47 (talk) 02:37, 7 July 2026 (UTC)
- Yes. Wikipedia:Reliable sources/Perennial sources#Fandom goes over it in a bit more detail. 45dogs (they/them) (talk page) (contributions) 02:39, 7 July 2026 (UTC)
- I'm just asking because I'm worried that I'll be plagiarizing somebody else's work in case I can't source it — Preceding unsigned comment added by ~2026-37800-47 (talk) 02:45, 7 July 2026 (UTC)

If you don't include content or information from fandom, then it won't be plagiarism. Some fandom wikis also license their content with usable licenses (if they use CC BY-NC for instance), so as long as you provide proper attribution the content from those wikis could be used without issue. 45dogs (they/them) (talk page) (contributions) 02:50, 7 July 2026 (UTC)
- Where do I find CC BY-NC in a page? ~2026-37800-47 (talk) 03:25, 7 July 2026 (UTC)
- At the bottom of a page on fandom, it will note the licensing used on the page. 45dogs (they/them) (talk page) (contributions) 03:28, 7 July 2026 (UTC)

Apology
editAlso, 45dogs I want to apologize for continuedly vandalizing the Squirrel Stapler page — Preceding unsigned comment added by ~2026-37800-47 (talk) 03:09, 8 July 2026 (UTC)
- I didn't interpret it as vandalism, as it wasn't vandalism. It was disruptive and I am glad you have stopped, but it is clear you made it in good faith, which means it cant be vandalism. You were warned for vandalism specifically for this edit by another editor.
- I would however recommend adding more sources to Draft:Squirrel Stapler. In its current state it won't be accepted as a article. To be accepted as an article, a draft needs multiple independent, reliable, secondary sources with significant coverage. Fandom is considered unreliable as it is a user generated source, and the steam page for squirrel stapler isn't independent. I would recommend looking for 3 sources that meet all of the criteria I stated, and adding them to the draft. You should also add the information they provide, though not the content (as adding the content would be a copyright violation). 45dogs (they/them) (talk page) (contributions) 03:21, 8 July 2026 (UTC)
Invitation followed by Question, :-)
editWhat are your plans for addressing the moderators' destructive response to random new posts? The addition to an existing section related to the main topic with not fully formatted according to industry standards— don't expect regular editors to be so thorough. It were not marked an verification addition explicetly.
Consider this behavior a sign of moderator overload rather than a sign of a decline in their professional level. I see you consider activity on wiki close to own (my personal estimation), and I am not, I am rather aside user. And do not accented on case or personalities. MashiraV (talk) 18:15, 12 July 2026 (UTC)
- I am not sure what you mean by this. The English Wikipedia does not have "moderators", and so I am not sure how their response would be destructive. The removal of the content you added to a talk page was already discussed at the Teahouse, and the rough agreement there is that it was a justified removal. 45dogs (they/them) (talk page) (contributions) 20:51, 12 July 2026 (UTC)
- Ok, maybe the problem lies in my explanation, so I'll try to start with the basics:
- The obvious existence of the liberal system is well known, I don't belong to it. The "other system", in addition to external views that considers systems close or similar. Some differences can be sensed in the origins of pluralism: the liberal branch uses empirical natural environments, while we claim to achieve pluralism through the foundations of consciousness—transitional polarities in the principles of personality, some bordering on paradoxes, while intransitive ones are also defined as absurd. Reaction of moderator in teahause was not occasional but too intitive.
- Those you call "socialists" on Wikipedia are the reactionary branch of the liberal system. Don't be surprised if you find the term "rebel" applied to someone who tries to occupy the space of pluralism. I don't want to explain the system's architecture in detail, but I do want to make some comments about what you're "playing" with, they are strong "guys". Our side will not interfere with your actions, and this is about note on technical capabilities when interacting with local stuff.
- P.S. since user can edit - editor sharing, censoring probably shifted to moderation, - no external authoritative, mandatory term. If you offer term that use, will use one, :-) MashiraV (talk) 10:38, 13 July 2026 (UTC)

Articles for Creation backlog drive
edit
Hello 45dogs:
WikiProject Articles for creation is holding a month long Backlog Drive in August!
The goal of this drive is to reduce the backlog of unreviewed drafts to less than a month of outstanding reviews from the current 3+ months. Bonus points will be given for reviewing drafts that have been waiting more than 30 days. The drive is running from 1 August 2026 through 31 August 2026.
You may find Category:AfC pending submissions by age or other categories and sorting helpful.
Barnstars will be given out as awards at the end of the drive.
There is a backlog of over 5000 pages, so start reviewing drafts. We're looking forward to your help! MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 00:36, 19 July 2026 (UTC)
- If you wish to opt-out of future mailings, please remove yourself from the mailing list or alternatively to opt-out of all massmessage mailings, you may add Category:Wikipedians who opt out of message delivery to your user talk page.
