Welcome to my user page. This page is intended to give you a quick idea of my interests, experience, and current projects. It's also where I keep some of the nice things that people have unwisely said about me. To leave me a message, or start a discussion, please head on over to my talk page.
Right now I'm mostly working on improving articles, reviewing Good Article nominations, and arguing at Articles for Deletion. Check out my activity summary!
The largest five sections are:
Red (mainspace), representing the articles I've created and expanded;
Blue (Wikipedia), mostly comprised of contributions to Articles for Deletion debates;
Pink (User talk), mostly vandalism warnings and advice for new users;
Green (Article talk), almost entirely project tagging and article assessment, and
Gray (Template talk), being largely reviews and nominations at Did You Know?
Despite working on a number of articles about Roman Catholic clergy and conservative politicians, I am neither religious nor right-wing. I just find it's easier working on articles that I have no personal involvement in, plus I learn more.
Articles featured here are articles whose existence and/or current quality is substantially as a result of my work. - This article was created by me. - This article was substantially expanded by me. - This article was rescued from deletion due to my substantial improvement of it during a deletion discussion. - This article was featured in the Did You Know? section of the main page. - This article is currently a candidate for Good Article status. - This article has passed a GA review and is now a Good Article. - This article has, in my opinion, been substantially reduced in quality by other editors since my last major work on it.
Well done on your sterling work in rescuing the Paul Randall Harrington from deletion. I'd close the debate if I was allowed, but only a matter of time before someone else does. Awesome work. Dylanfromthenorth (talk) 20:47, 11 February 2010 (UTC)
The Article Rescue Barnstar
Thank you for your outstanding (and successful!) efforts rescuing The Officer's Guide to Police Pistolcraft from deletion. Your time and work are both greatly appreciated and the whole process has made me realize just what an interesting project Wikipedia is! If you are interested (and only if it doesn't violate any rules) the author has authorized me to offer to send you a copy of the book so you can learn more about the subject matter. Nothing unethical, he has complimentary copies set aside for review purposes and sends them out with no strings or obligations on a regular basis. Please provide an address via email if you are interested and I will send one out immediately. Again, thank you! H. Taylor TaylorTime (talk) 15:03, 22 February 2010 (UTC)
Note: The offer of a free book above was declined with thanks, 22 Feb 10. - DustFormsWords
For your exceptionally thorough reviews and verifications of DYK suggestions. Mkativerata (talk) 04:41, 6 May 2010 (UTC)
The Quebec Barnstar of National Merit
I hereby award you this barnstar for your dedication to the biographies and historical querks of Quebecians, which if it isn't a word should be. - ManicSpider (talk) 05:11, 2 February 2011 (UTC)
