I'm a writer based in Portland, Oregon, mostly researching at the intersection of psychology, narrative, and the hidden architectures that shape human experience. I worked at Wikimedia Foundation from 2016 to 2023, where I worked with volunteer editor communities across 13 languages.

Daughterphoenix was my League of Legends summoner name from 2010. Haven't played in a decade, but I can't be bothered to change it.

I currently edit about gift economies and emotional capitalism. I started the page for a cross-dressing squirrel in my first year of editing like a decade ago, and I'm still very proud of it.

Out in the world, I'm writing a novel about a time-traveling witch with my real human brain. I'm also pitching a nonfiction book about tarot readers and artists, and their contributions to mutual aid.
