Hello! My long-term focus is on filling in the Connecticut General Assembly 's electoral and legislative history. Currently, my priority is women, and I've compiled the articles I've started, along with those that still need to be created, below for my own linking convenience. Fun stuff!
Though a few names are missing from or misspelled in Connecticut's databases, I've been able to confirm each person through old news coverage, and I'm currently about 95% sure I have every missing woman member since 1920, the first election cycle in which women had the right to vote and run for state office in Connecticut. I have an excessive collection of newspaper clippings on Connecticut politics in general that I am happy to share with anyone else writing on the subject!
