Purpose

The {{lcons}} template (link to consonant) is used to link to types of consonants (e.g. velar, retroflex, apical, etc.). It is the consonant equivalent of {{lvow}}.

Examples

For example, {{lcons|alveolar}} is shorthand for [[alveolar consonant|alveolar]].

Multiple arguments can be specified; e.g. to link to a laminal dental nasal consonant (as in French n), use {{lcons|laminal|dental|nasal}} → laminal dental nasal
