The website for the Government of Ohio is officially down and it has been for a long time now.

We should update the page to reflect that the website is no longer functioning, or a note to indicate this 2806:2F0:A0C0:F11C:225D:DFF:FE37:D340 (talk) 20:00, 8 August 2025 (UTC)Reply

Which URL are you talking about? OhNoitsJamie Talk 20:06, 8 August 2025 (UTC)Reply
The official URL of the government of Ohio as it's presented on the article: ohio(dot)gov now leads to a 404 error page. 187.190.238.122 (talk) 18:48, 15 August 2025 (UTC)Reply
It worked for me when you originally posted it, and it still works for me. Maybe Ohio blocked you? OhNoitsJamie Talk 18:54, 15 August 2025 (UTC)Reply
I'm not sure if it's a regional lock, but other people in the US have tried to access to check their public tax records only to get 404 resiñts- 187.190.238.122 (talk) 19:09, 17 August 2025 (UTC)Reply

The usage of BCE in the heading needs to be changed back to BC to align with the AD/BC dating system used in the rest of the article and to make it more consistent under MOS:ERA and MOS:VAR, since the AD/BC system was utilized in this article prior to CE/BCE. Borders

edit

Ohio's northern border is with Canada. It's in the middle of Lake Erie. That's why the islands off the Ohio shore are in Ohio, and why Pelee Island is in Canada. John FitzGerald (talk) John FitzGerald (talk) 21:20, 4 December 2025 (UTC)Reply

I noticed that there's something missing in infobox of U.S. state used in Ohio article, which is missing for "Before statehood", unlike almost states that used it, for example Indiana, which before statehood was Indiana Territory as said in its infobox and Texas, which before statehood was Republic of Texas as said in its infobox. ~2026-17061-23 (talk) 14:49, 18 March 2026 (UTC)Reply

Change "Pawpaw" in the state symbols infobox to say tomato, then pawpaw underneath with "(native)" next to it. Tomatoes are the state fruit, while pawpaws are the state NATIVE fruit. Catiko614 (talk) 00:30, 11 May 2026 (UTC)Reply

Not done: please provide reliable sources that support the change you want made. Day Creature (talk) 05:45, 11 May 2026 (UTC)Reply

Demographics

edit

Is there a better way we could show or condense the data in the demographics section? In particular, the ancestry segment seems bloated and duplicative; there are two charts showing almost the same data on historic racial/ethnic data, and data from 2020 is presented three times. 636Buster (talk) 15:04, 11 May 2026 (UTC)Reply
