Is Kinship and descent really the best article to describe genetic inheritance? Can we find something better? I'm looking for where to redirect a link in an the Blond article which refers to "nations of mixed heritage" such as the US and Canada, and kinship doesn't cut it, nor does cultural heritage. I decided to remove the Kinship and descent link because that article is mostly about anthropological views of family organizations and not about the sense of inheriting culture, which is, perhaps, more related to tradition. Also, I think biological inheritance answers my previous questions. I think that these uncertainties point to the need for an eventual article about heritage at this page about how the 'heritage' of an individual can refer to a combination of racial, cultural, and familial traits which have been passed down. Heritage

edit

I am returning to a former place I served as a pastor and being asked to preach/teach on Heritage. The subject is intriquing to me and I just wanted to see what wikipedia had to say. It has already given me a direction and some information to share.Jelliottpan1 (talk) 21:08, 1 October 2009 (UTC)Reply

Architectural heritage

edit

There doesn't seem to be a WP article on architectural heritage, and we need one. Cossaxx (talk) 06:19, 31 March 2015 (UTC)Reply

Help revisit this edit

edit

Requesting @Macrakis , @Rjensen, @Billinghurst to have a look and revisit following:

This edit by @Macrakis in the section History and society seem to have introduced following wording.

May be " is a preexisting thing of value today , is created by humans , is not " may be correct in the respective articles but seem to sound strange in disambiguation page for an encyclopedia. Pl. help revisit.

I agree that it's clumsy, but in my defence, I think it's better than what preceded it. This is Wikipedia: feel free to improve! --Macrakis (talk) 13:36, 27 September 2025 (UTC)Reply
