Wrong Changzhou

edit
This is in Suzhou

The map shown on the right is Changzhou written with a 長, not a 常. Don't use it for discussion of this completely different city.  LlywelynII 13:45, 23 February 2023 (UTC)Reply

Up to you guys if you're going to expand things yourself, but right now the ton of forced empty space is an eyesore. If it's still like that when you read this, future editor, come back and restore the version I did yesterday which looked much better for the current amount of content.  LlywelynII 05:27, 24 February 2023 (UTC)Reply

Dear G-d

No, you don't wp:blank/wp:rmv the entire history section for a 2000-year-old city because you yourself can't be arsed to find the sources or follow the provided links. Just leave it for other editors unless there's a wp:blp issue or something patently noxious. (Templates with date notices don't count, least of all ones recently placed after every other sentence by you yourself.)

Among other policies this violated (wp:iar, wp:point, wp:reader, &c.), this blanked the information related to incoming redirects from other former names of the town. Additional editors seeing this, kindly do restore any other information mistakenly blanked by the 2024 editor who killed the history section. I'm not going through all of it and just know this particular section should not have been deep sixed.  LlywelynII 14:25, 6 April 2026 (UTC)Reply
