Roger Dicken (15 April 1939 18 February 2024)[1][2] was a British special effects artist.[3] He was nominated for an Academy Award in the category Best Visual Effects for the film When Dinosaurs Ruled the Earth.[4]

Dicken died on 18 February 2024, at his home in North Wales, at the age of 84.[5][6][7]

At the 97th Academy Awards, his name was mentioned in the In Memoriam section.[8]
