Studies on AI visibility

edit

In 2025, Pixelclip published a study on the visibility of Spanish universities and business schools in artificial-intelligence-generated answers. Digital Inside reported that, according to the study, 50 percent of the universities and business schools analysed did not reach a minimum visibility of 20 percent in responses generated by major AI systems.[7]

Magisnet also covered the study, reporting that it analysed how systems such as ChatGPT, Gemini and Perplexity present universities and business schools to prospective students. The article stated that official institutional websites represented 23.9 percent of the sources cited by AI systems, while third-party content such as media, rankings and blogs represented 76.1 percent.[8] Gradomania also reported on the same study and its ranking of institutions by visibility in AI responses.[9]

In 2026, Infosalus reported on a Pixelclip study about the visibility of sunscreen brands in AI-generated answers. The study analysed 6,532 Spanish-language prompts and 156,768 responses from ChatGPT, Gemini and Google AI Overviews, according to the article.[10]

Empresa Exterior listed Pixelclip among the winners of the 2014 eAwards, in the category of traffic acquisition.[11] La Vanguardia also carried a release about the award, describing it as a recognition for traffic acquisition services in search marketing, SEO and paid search.[12]
