Frequently Asked Questions

How is the rotation share applied?
The ad spaces display various banners alternatively. Each time a visitor views a page, a different advertiser is selected randomly according to the agreed rotation share. For example, with a 20% rotation share, your banners will show on the two desktop spaces for 20% of the applicable page views from desktop and on the mobile space for 20% of page views from mobile. The ad spaces display multiple banners in rotation. Each pageview selects an advertiser according to the agreed share. For example, with a 20% share, your banners are eligible to serve on ~20% of desktop pageviews in the two desktop positions and ~20% of mobile pageviews in the mobile position.
What page views are eligible for advertising?
The bottom banner (desktop) and bottom rectangle (mobile) appear on all pages. The desktop sidebar appears on most pages except individual catalogue item pages. Premium subscribers (<1% of users) do not see display ads.
Can I target specific countries or languages?
Yes. You may choose to show different banners based on the geolocation of the visitors or their language. You may also choose to show your banners only to visitors from selected countries.
What image formats are accepted?
You can provide your banner in JPG, PNG, GIF, WEBP or HTML5 format.
Animated banners are accepted with reasonable animation and load weight.
What banner material should be provided?
We recommend that you provide the images twice as big as the banner spaces, so they remain crisp on high resolution screens: 320 × 1200px, 1596 × 180px and 640 × 320px.
Minor variations of these sizes can be accepted upon prior agreement.
Please also provide the URL. UTM parameters are welcome.
We reserve the right to decline unsuitable creatives.
What is the implementation lead time?
The banners can be activated within 3 business days after you provide the banner material.
What is required for the banners based on a product API?
Instead of providing images for the banners, you may provide a feed (API or hosted file) of the coins or other items you wish to advertise. We'll build a rotating banner showcasing them.
We support JSON, CSV and XML formats. The feed should include the following details for each item:

  • Image URL
  • Title
  • Price
