María Isabel Granda y Larco, most known for her artistic name "Chabuca Granda" (1920-1983) was a Peruvian singer, also songwriter, poet, record artist, screenwriter, playwright and lyricist. In 2017 her artistic work was named an Artistic National Heritage by the Peruvian government. She is considered one of the main artists of Perú, for her artistic career of nearly 50 years.

The note has a solid security strip, windowed into three pieces on the obverse. It is a holographic strip with dynamic changes when the note is tilted:
