Welcome to "With Empty Pockets", a next-generation Fruits Basket RPG!

To empty one's pockets means, in short, "to air one's feelings and be honest with one another," something with the Sohma family has historically had problems with. Their secrets keep them apart from the rest of the human race, and they stubbornly protect these secrets, knowing that the consequences would be dire should they be revealed.

However, with each generation of Sohmas, their family seems to become closer and closer to the outside world. However, the new head of the Sohma family has plans to change that, and to strengthen the boundaries that lie between those of the Sohma family and the rest of the world.

Will this generation be allowed the freedom they so desperately seek, or will the new head of the family keep them from holding on to that dream?






Rules


1. This RPG is mature. As in, there'll be sex, drugs, and rock 'n' roll. No one under the age of 16 is permitted to apply. On that note, all explicit material must be placed under a cut. If you don't know how to make one, ASK.

2. Mary Sues and Gary Stues will be torn apart and eaten by the pack of rabid hyenas that belong to the mods. In other words, your character is human. They have flaws, and not everyone will love them. Deal with it.

3. Roleplaying will be done primarily over AIM, so you must have it in order to play.

4. Please use a seperate LiveJournal for your character - a specific journal set aside for your character in this RPG, and this RPG only. If you break this rule, you will be kicked out of the game.

5. Proper use of the English language, grammar, and punctuation systems is appreciated. Mistakes are fine, but please, if you have problems with your spelling, run it through a spellcheck! Also, if English is not your first language, let the mods know when you apply so that it can be taken into consideration.

6. Don't forget to join the OOC community, emptypocketsooc, once you're accepted!

7. Don't be a drama whore. OOC drama, godmodding, and other forms of twinkery will not be tolerated in the least. Don't test me on this.

8. If you have a problem with another player, take it to the mods.

9. We, the mods, reserve the right to accept or deny any applicant, regardless of that applicant's belief in their own skill. If any applicant has an issue with their being rejected, they may take it to the mods, but keep in mind that it is our decision, and annoyances and stalking will only get you laughed at and cheerfully blocked.
