Roommate!

Due to some unforeseen circumstances one of my roommates needs to bail for next semester so the three of us still living here are desperate for a roommate for January in a 500 a month BrightonAllstonBrookline apartment a minute walk from the Griggs St. stop down the B line. (The stop just passed Harvard Ave). The bedroom is medium sized with lots of windows and light and a regular sized closet. The apartment has two and a half bathrooms (one for guys one for girls because the half bath is a shower and sink, not a toilet.) The current tenants are laid back and responsible 21 year olds (1 girl, 2 guys) looking for someone of the same nature (cleanliness is rather important) We're a little movie obsessed and enjoy a good LP or video game. In the summer the complex has a pool and we have a pool key. All of the utilities are included except electricity which is split and usually runs about 20 a person. There is on site laundry quite literally 2 feet from our door. I'm not sure what else to say but that we're awesome and hope you are too?

Help Please?

I am creating a play for my Avant Garde Theatre class final project which will be further developed, analyzed and produced for my senior honors thesis project next year. The piece is inspired by the epic theatre tradition and the Living Newspaper Theatre’s production of Power in 1937. The play will deal with the angel-whore dichotomy of female heterosexuality in American culture. The play will look at this issue from many different angles (including sexual education in schools, the influence of religion and things like “purity balls”, and the historical roots of feminism in America up to so-called “Ally McBeal Feminism”) in an attempt to find a middle ground. I’ve created two, anonymous, relatively painless surveys, one for men who’ve had relationships with women and one for women who’ve had relationships with men, to get a general sense of where my research should take me next. I would really appreciate it if you would take the time to fill it out. And I would REALLY appreciate it if you could pass this along to your friends. The more responses the better!

Aggghhh!

I currently have Photo II with David Akiba, and he pointed us towards Colortek in Boston to get our Ilford XP2 super film developed. We were told to ask them to "Develop C-41" and to have them "Develop only, do not cut."

However, I look online and find that Colortek is only open Monday through Friday, and class is on Monday. Are there any labs around that can develop in the way that Akiba wants and that is open on weekends (preferably on Sunday) and can develop on the same day?
