We will find so much peace, if we just let them be who they are
if they want to ignore you, let them
if they wanna choose somebody else over you, let them
if they decide no longer want you in their life, let them
let them make their choices and live their life
let them do whatever it is they want to do because they are going to do it anyway
You being upset over it is only going to hurt you, but when you can realize you cant control anybody else, you free yourself from so much stress and anxiety and sadness. Let’s be honest, navigating relationships can be tricky. We’ve all been there pouring your heart out, only to feel like you’re on completely different wavelengths. It’s easy to get discouraged and think “why can’t they just see things my way?”
But true freedom comes from letting go of the need to control others. When we focus on what we can control our own choices and reactions a whole world of possibilities opens up.
By releasing the pressure of expectations, we can truly appreciate the present moments in our connections. Imagine enjoying the time you have with someone, without the constant worry of “what if?”
Remember, everyone’s on their own unique journey. The choices people make are based on what they believe is best for them at that time. It might sting a little. Now, let’s shift the focus to the amazing people who choose you! These are the ones who see your worth and celebrate your awesomeness. Surround yourself with these incredible individuals who lift you up and make you feel valued.
And hey, if someone decides to walk away, that might just be the universe making room for someone even more incredible! As Mel Robbins says, letting go of those who don’t fit your path opens the door to beautiful new connections.
So, here’s to embracing the present, cherishing those who choose you, and trusting that amazing things are always waiting around the corner!
