🐭 Little mice choir 🐭
Hello Tumblr!

She smells like sweat and WD-40, a potent mixture of mechanical grime and the pungent cling of a long day in a stuffy workshop. I want to kiss her knuckles, but yanks her hands away from my lips, laughing because they're too dirty.
... and they are -- she is -- dirty. Her whole body is covered in fluids and soots and oils -- the beautiful viscera of her profession -- and her knuckles are littered with a light dusting of scars from machines and people who struggle with the divide between metal and flesh, but it is because of this, not in spite of it, that my lips long for her fingers.
For hers are the hands of a journeyman mechanic, but a master dyke, strong, calloused, and despite having had them inside me on a semi-regular basis, the only time I've ever felt her nails was when she slipped them into the seams of my armor plating to pry open my frame for maintainance.
She knows me in ways that would make poets seethe, having held me both inside and out, and one of these days I'll find a way to make her understand that I am simply not capable of finding her in a state -- that no such state exists -- where the first thing I think upon booting isn't just how badly I long for her touch.
When you see a woman you love, or a woman you've fucked with some regularity, maybe a friend you've longed over for ages -- or just even one that you saw at the bar and brought home for a rollick -- what living, breathing being struggling on this dying planet, could see herself dripping from the fingers of such a beautiful woman and think:
"No, they're dirty. I simply cannot kiss them."
I may not be flesh, but I will spend as pathetically, desperately little time here -- perhaps longer than her, but -- nothing in the grand schema of the universal matrix, and I will lick, I will suck, I will take into my throat the beauty of this world, and by every rule and every god, I will kiss her fingers clean if I have to,
and then I will kiss them again.
actually hate that the bodys response to anything is nausea. ate too much? nauseous. ate too little? nauseous. an imaginary threat got you scared? be nauseous. on your period? you guessed it. sawed into your hand and need to go to the emergency room? perhaps throwing up into your open wound will be of help
pokemon doodle requests from kofi! these were super fun so i opened more slots! ^o^
ive been trying to make a princess tutu au/crossover work for a loooooong time. most of these were drawn last year, there were other things i wanted to include but i ran out of steam. thought it was about time i shared it anyway though!
Rumi: I got that dog in me but it has to wear one of those vests that say “nervous, give me space”
Zoey: I got that dog in me but it has no recall whatsoever and is easily distracted
Mira: I got that dog in me but it is convinced you no longer love it the second you leave it home alone and it will sit and stare sadly at the door until you get back
Celine: I got that dog in me but it’s a retired police dog with ptsd that doesn’t know how to be a dog and not a weapon anymore
Bobby: *deep inhale* The dog in me is a therapy dog that is telling you all to go to real therapy
In honor of the new year I ask you, what do you think the girls' favorite alcoholic beverages are? (Feel free to include Mamo or anyone of your liking in this list)
Alright! Happy new years everybody!🎉🎇🍾
Please drink responsibly.
Before I start me clarify *I am NOT a drinker or an expert of alcohol by any means*
This is just what I personally believe would fit each of the girls based on my knowledge about them and my *very* limited knowledge on alcoholic beverages.
Usagi - Sex on the beach
Usagi would like something super sweet and fruity, with not much of a bitter aftertaste. Something that she can casually sip throughout the night without going out immediately. It also doesn't look 'scary' to her like many other beverages cause it looks like juice. (She'd def be too embarrassed to say the name to the server tho, so she'd ask Mako or Mina to order it for her everytime)
Ami - Kirsch
Ami doesn't drink. Even during big events and celebrations, I think Ami is the one person to abstain, BUT on that extremely rare occasion I think she'd enjoy drinking Kirsch with her mother. The bitter black forest cake and cherry flavor brings good memories to both of them. She prob bought Kirsch once, drank it with Saeko on a couple occasions and never drank again.
Rei - Sake
Rei was the easiest one. Rei drinks Sake. She not only enjoys the flavor, the experience, and the price (lol), but it's also something that is deeply ingrained in Japanese culture. It finishes well and can be casually enjoyed while eating other meals that pair well with it. She loves efficency ;)
Makoto - Rum
Mako drinks straight shots of dark spirits, which I think would surprise some people. I see her as someone who's had their fair share of experience with alcohol since a young age, so she's developed a refined taste for strong and hearty alcohol with some light accents of wood and smoke. She drinks very occasionally now and if she wants to take it easy, I can see her lightening it with sodas or teas.
Minako - Piña Colada
Mina could drink anything you put under her. She'd chug it like it's nothin, but if you were to ask her her favorite I could easily see her going for a bit of a basic, but classic cocktail like piña colada. Despite being relatively low on alcohol content, I think she'd throughly enjoy the favor and body as well as the beachy, summer vibes it brings.
Imma do a second part with Haruka, Michiru, Setsuna and Mamoru tmrrw in a reblog cause Tumblr is being a lil baby and not allowing me to link more pics (it's also getting a bit late and I need to do other stuff)
Ok, back to it!
Haruka - Beer
I can so easily see Haruka drinking canned beer. It's nothing fancy, she can easily open a can at home and enjoy it or share with guests. It also doesn't have a lot of alcohol content, which I think Haruka prefers on a more regular basis. Despite occasionally engaging in stronger or fancier spirits, Haruka prefers to stay grounded to the more 'common man item' and beer is something she can easily find at convenient stores or even vending machines. It's sort of comforting.
Michiru - Red wine
I’m pretty sure Michi is even showed in canon to be drinking red wine, she’s just the perfect demographic for it. Red wine can vary from fancy to stupidly expensive, all of which Michiru could easily cover given her ridiculous wealth. It is also a status symbol amongst aristocrats, almost like beer is to ‘manly men’. Though, much like Haruka, aside from the more superficial reasons Michiru likes red wine, I do think Michiru genuinely appreciates and respects the complexity of it. There’s so much in the process of the making of wine: country of origin, craftsmanship, aging.. It’s fascinating to her. Each wine telling a different story in its presentation, flavor, body. I think these are things that the wealthy very much tend to appreciate and reflect on more than the average man, but for Michi is not just a empty conversation starter, I think she genuinely loves learning and tasting new red wines. (I would tell you her fav but I’m honestly not that knowledgeable about them, I don’t wanna do Michi a disfavor)
Setsuna - Prosecco
Prosecco is a light bodied dry sparkling white wine with fruity notes and it’s usually served as an aperitif (drink to stimulate appetite). I think Setsuna would really enjoy this one. Even though she’d drink red wine more often, she’d tend to prefer the overall experience of drinking Prosecco. It’s part of a “full experience” for her, since the Prosecco is as much of an important and distinct part of the meal as say the main course. I’d imagine these rare ‘fancy dinners’, as Chibs would call them, are a very refreshing and important reset for Setsuna. A step back from her liminal life.
Mamoru - Negroni
Mamoru really strikes me as a “on the rocks” type of person. I could’ve put some other cocktails for him and I think it would’ve fit just as well, but I chose Negroni for its simplicity. It’s just 3 ingredients, all of which are not too expensive or hard to find. If he either decides to make it at home or ask for it at a bar, he knows it won’t be much trouble to put together, unlike some more complicated cocktails. It is a strong alcohol though, so he would have it very occasionally. It also has the added bonus of sharing orange as a garnish, much like Usagi’s drink, so he can just add it to his if he’s making them both their favorite drinks.
i saw someone say nobody needs to know what a .txt file is anymore. what the fuck is the world coming to
unironically i think we need to bring back computer labs because APPARENTLY some people WERENT taught basic computer literacy and internet safety in school
things about computers/the internet i think kids should be formally taught in schools because theyre important to know and the amount of soon to be grown adults i know who know NOTHING about any of these is quite frankly almost all of them (and resources to learn if you dont know these things, because its never to late to get better with computers)
as an additional note: things i think everyone should know on computers and the internet but schools may bit hesitant to teach about for whatever moral/legal standards schools pretend to operate on
ok one last addition! if you want to take it one level higher, i think learning the very basics of at least one programming language is good for people. it makes computers less scary and it makes you feel very cool, and a lot of people get discouraged about it because it seems overly complicated and hard to learn outside a formal classroom setting, so heres some resources for learning the very basics of python (because i consider it the easiest language to learn and knowing one language will make it easier to learn others)
Computer literacy is information literacy is literacy
