ran out of space

this icon is getting such a workout today

I have downloaded and watched 10 anime vids in the last 24 hours, one of which was eight and a half minutes long, but... Pretty! Shiny! Help!

I think the most disturbing thing in all of this is how much of the source content I recognized, when I'm sure the only thing I've actually watched is Spirited Away. The rest I got entirely from you all, and your posts and icons and other evil things of osmosisizing power.

Anyway. After watching this, I am not asking if Fullmetal Alchemist is really anything like it. No. Because it's much better to think that it's not, and thus, to be content with my mini magical horror movie.

And not that I would ever drag anyone else down with me, but that gigglefest anime vid that I mentioned from Con.txt...would be found here. Don't have this post pop into your life right after seeing that vid, and you should be just fine.

more crossover insanity

This bit of Sheppard and Starbuck, John and Kara, whatever you want to call them, it can't stand on its own. It requires this story/snippet/thing to be understood, even though it's a different enough style (I don't know, I was tired) that I don't really know that I can just stick the two of them together. Again, it was supposed to be for the sf_friday48 challenge, but I don't know whether something that's kind of turning into a weekly WIP counts, so... It barely meets the challenge guidelines of "teamfic" and "secrets," anyway.* And it too is flying completely without beta.

* At least this ended up shorter than the other thing that thepouncer would recognize. The one that really would have met the challenge. Remember that idea about two spiky-haired Sci-Fi Friday characters? Damn it, I knew that wasn't going to be simple or short, so why the hell did I start it? I've forgotten how to write, although there's also the argument that I never knew.

see if I ever get on IM again

This is purging. Of evil. From evil people. Written in a few hours, but too much angst right from the top to fit the first sf_friday48 challenge. It has no title other than "The Insanity Below is Not My Fault." Sometime out beyond current SGA and BSG canon, because it's the only way I could get him alone on a jumper, which means that this isn't your standard issue John Sheppard and that identifying Cylons isn't a problem any more. Whatever. I wanted it out of my head.
