Author's Notes: My fic writing, or writing in general, has been sporadic the last two years. But this show has awakened my imagination and made me able to do things I haven't done in quite some time. This came to me not long after seeing the television airing of the series finale, and I was spurred to finish it when I bought the DVDs. I wish we could have seen a little more of an expansion of things being wrapped up, but since we didn't, this is my decidedly poor attempt at it. Since fic will be all we have to live on now, I hope you enjoy it. If you do, or even if you don't, comments as to why are always appreciated. ;)

There haven't been too many Eli Stone fics lately, so I've decided to start an Eli Stone fanfic challenge! The fics can be any length, any genre, and any rating and can include any pairing at any time either during or after the series.

The only requirement for this challenge is that the words "just this once" must somehow be included. However, the words have to be more than just the title of the fic.

The deadline for the challenge is October 8th and you can post your entries any time until then. A master list of fics will be posted shortly after the deadline. Please post links to your fics in the comments section of this post so I can make sure that I don't miss any!

So, what did everyone think about Flight Plan, the series finale, last night?

Overall, I would have to say I was pleased. Mostly I'm just sad that it's gone.

Just finished watching the new episode!
It aired on sci fi and I downloaded it!!
Great no WONDERFUL episode especially for our couple!
Loved every minute of it!!! I missed Eli!!!!!!!!!!!
Hope we'll get to see the rest of the season, as much as it sucks that they cancelled it, it sucked even more that ABC didn't show the remaining episodes!!

Just finished watching last night episode.

First there was no Maggie at all which sucked but on the whole it was another good episode!!
Eli made me angry again with his stubborness! He knows the way he's acting is wrong yet he keeps doing it!! He doesn't listen to Frank, and his trying to protect Nate, ended up hurting him more!!
But in the last scene my heart went out to him and seeing the blood....

I love Matt more and more every episode!! I loved him trying to make Taylor smile even while they were both so worried!

Does anyone know of a good Eli Stone photo gallery? The only Eli Stone site I've even been able to find is eli-stone.org, and their gallery hasn't been updated since April.

Please? I'm dying here.
