There has been sufficient response by four lots of people. Being impatient and knowing that fic does require some lead-up time as far as the writing goes I'm posting the Claim-a-Day post for October. The sign-up rules are the same as last year: Comment below with which day you want and you will be added to the list. Unless there are extenuating circumstances or more than thirty-one people sign up it's one person per a day.

The guidelines for constructing your fills are also the same: You can create anything you like (fic, art, meta, flick, vids, plushies, cake etc.), of any size/length you like, of any rating you like, but it must contain at least one Eleven era character and it must contain Romana (any Romana). If you need inspiration the prompt post can be found here (and if anyone knows how to create prompt tables please contact me because I really would like to make some this time around).

Obviously there can never be enough Eleven/Romana fic. Hi-lighting the marvellousness of this oddly specific possibly imaginary only happening on screen if we're really really lucky AWESOME pairing is what Eleven_Romana is all about. After the success of last year's ficathon I though it would be good to get another rolling, but I'm wondering about dates -

Last year, declaring November as Eleven_Romana month conflicted with NaNoWriMo and may have downed the number of potential fic. Since I've no clue where I'll be in December (or even next week to be completely honest) I was thinking of fast-forwarding the ficathon forward by one month and hosting it in October. Any thoughts? If I get a positive response to this I'll post the day claim by the end of the week.

Now that November and the ficathon have ended, and we're all buckling down to endure the last few weeks until Christmas, I want to say thanks to everyone who participated. It was a random idea and you made it awesome.

To everyone who didn't meet their deadline, or who wanted to sign-up but didn't have the time, remember that more fic is always better than less. I'm keeping the comm open. Posting of fic, art, recs and other Eleven/Romana themed things is heartily encouraged.

Please DO share what you've written. Either post here or give a link to your archiving location (if that happens to be your personal journal please make sure it's not marked friends only!).

Art, anything over a 100 words, and anything over P13 should be put under a cut.

Please use appropriate warnings if your fic contains adult situations or anything which may be triggery.

Your friendly neighbourhood mod will take care of tagging.

In order to avoid F'list spam, to maintain a steady supply of Eleven/Romana, and to let people choose their own deadlines I'm asking participants in this ficathon to claim a day in November as their own. There are thirty days in November. I don't expect (but hope!) that many people will sign up. Unless there are conflicts or over thirty people I'd prefer each person to choose their own

Look at me funny if you want, call me obsessed if you will, but I'm very fond of Eleven/Romana. Alas, but I can count the amount of fic given to this pairing on one hand. In order to remedy this I'm declaring November Eleven/Romana month.

How does this work? Easy! You sign up for a day in November HERE (sign-ups are open until the 23rd of October). Then you busily get to work writing fic or making art. Once your day comes up your share the result with the class.
