MY THOUGHTS: I just spent two delightful sessions reading this story that has just about everything. It’s mature, meaning the characters are grown-up, and they behave that way (for the most part!). It’s well-written, layered, it’s funny, it’s heart-warming, and it even brought tears to me eyes (Note: Floo does NOT cry at fics!). I found this fic through tnl_awards, and I highly encourage everyone to read this (and follow the awards, and VOTE!!). Naturally, as an author, I also encourage everyone who reads our recommended fics to leave reviews. They truly are a balm to our souls!

MY THOUGHTS: This story takes place 9 years after a Hogwarts relationship between Draco and Hermione ended. This story is well written, it’s quite funny, but what I love most is Draco. He’s very raw and real, and the author deals with some very intense issues, while at the same time making the reader laugh. I adored Ginny in this, Narcissa makes a couple of highly amusing appearances, and Hermione does too much talking herself out of things. It’s a wonderful read! I hope you enjoy it as much as I did!

MY THOUGHTS: I really enjoyed this story. I felt that the writer had a really believable grasp on Hermione and Draco as characters and turned them into real people that I could relate to through their trials. The story is incredibly well written and intriguing. !

TITLE: The Beast Within

SUMMARY: Fifteen months on the run have left Draco with little options, and soon finds himself in a most awkward position. Hermione was seriously injured in the search for the remaining Horcruxes, and was left behind. Will she find companionship in the most unlikely of places, or will things just go downhill...

MY THOUGHTS: First of all, this story is well written. It’s obvious the author put a great deal of thought into it. The plot lines are intricate and varied, and she explores a part of the wizarding world that most people don’t: werewolves. Fenrir Greyback plays a significant role, and there are starring appearances by Narcissa Malfoy, Tonks, Moody, and a friend of Snape’s. I simply can’t get enough of this wonderful story. I highly recommend it to anyone and everyone!
