The 2026 OECD Global Anti-Corruption & Integrity Forum will bring together leaders from government, civil society and the private sector to explore how integrity and anti-corruption efforts can serve as engines for performance, resilience and innovation. EITI's Technical Director, Gay Ordenes, will moderate a knowledge partner session on 26 March, 2:30 PM – 4:00 PM on beneficial ownership transparency as a tool to promote integrity in the award of licenses and contracts.

The session, titled "Competitiveness and prosperity in high-risk sectors: Beneficial ownership transparency as a tool to promote integrity in the award of licenses and contracts," will explore how beneficial ownership transparency can be embedded into integrity due diligence processes in contracting and licensing, with a focus on the extractives sector, including critical and transition minerals. Drawing on the global Opening Extractives programme, the discussion will feature practical applications from Armenia, Ghana and Zambia, and examine how these approaches are delivering benefits to governments, citizens and companies.

Gay will be joined by panellists Alexandra Gillies (Chief Impact Officer, OCCRP), Julie Rialet (Policy & Research Manager, Open Ownership), Grace Kumah (Ghana Petroleum Commission) and Rowena Ruiz (Undersecretary Attorney, Philippines Department of Budget and Management).

EITI colleagues will also participate as commentators in a closed-door side event titled, "Strengthening Integrity and Anti-Corruption Implementation in Middle East and Africa" on 24 March, 2:00 PM – 4:10 PM.
