Hey all

Apologies for the x-posting. I stumbled upon this community recently. Anyway, here is my introductory post from another SW community:

Name: Rosie
Age: 22
Location: Huntington Beach, CA
For how long have you been a SW fan: 10 years. =)
How did you hear about them: Heard some songs of theirs on the radio, and was hooked.
Favourite SW song: Shame
Favourite SW lyric/quote: How can I exist without you?
Picture of yourself: On May 14, 2001, my (now former) friend Jenny and I had the pleasure of attending the last Stabbing Westward show played in L.A. at the Roxy in Hollywood. I was fortunate enough to meet the band before the show, get autographs, hugs, and have pictures taken with Chris and Walter. I am on the left in each photo, with the dark hair. =)

there's a community!?!

hey everyone! I first found stabbing westward when one of my friends had the lyrics to "angel" and they made me cry. i had to know who this band was! So i bought darkest days and have been hooked ever since. I'd have to say that Darkest Days probably saved my life. It was so amazing to find that album at a time in my life when i was feeling everything the songs were about. I love this band. And waking up beside you is my favorite song ever. It can *still* move me to tears, cause there's no feeling on earth like waking up beside the one you love and then having them not be there. I love this band!

The Dreaming concert in Seattle

*whimper* Christopher Hall's new band The Dreaming is coming to Seattle on the 20th of this month...but I can't go 'cuz they are playing at a 21+ club and I won't be 21 until July! I can't tell you how unfair that is!

For anyone who lives in Seattle and is over 21, they will be at the Fenix Underground on that date. If you go, please take pictures for me!

Sorry for the lack of updates in this community. Its been largely my fault that nothing has been going on. But things have been crude as of late. But i would like to announce that i am looking for a co moderator, and if you are interested...please fill out the small questionnaire and leave it in the comment box. Thanks everyone. You guys are awesome. I am sorry.

<LJ NAME: <FAV SW ALBUM: <IN ONE WORD:

hey everyone

I'm new to the community, so I thought i'd introduce myself. I'm Derek, and i'm 15. I'm obviously a fan of SW and The Dreaming, but I also enjoy other music and other stuff. Like, art, cats, donuts, long walks on the beach, jellyfish, and other related stuff that you can just fill in :P

Anyways, I first listened to SW after they broke up, so I was obviously sad to hear that they broke up. Which really is too bad, since their music has had a profound impact on my life. Oh well, at least we have The Dreaming now...but it's still not the same. Anyways, that's all. Hope to get to know some of you :)

The UCLA Radio Interview is up for download at my old server. You can download it here. I know some people kept IMing me about that on AIM and I couldn't send it to you directly because AIM sucks, but now you can finally download it. If the link doesn't work, don't worry. Sometimes the server goes down, just try again in like an hour or two and it should probably work again. This radio interview is from December 1st, 2003 and it has Christopher Hall being interviewed by the UCLA Radio crew and fans through instant messenger about The Dreaming and his past with Stabbing Westward.
In other news... The Dreaming's song which was originally called "Hole" has now been changed to "Whole".

I saw the EP's new cover sleeve design and it looks pretty fucking amazing. I can't post it because Chris asked me not to show anybody, but there's a pic of the band on it and Chris looks like Robert Smith in the pic. It's pretty cool. Anyway, a definite must-have for any The Dreaming collector.

Just letting you guys know that I opened a The Dreaming live pictures database on my website. So far I've only posted around 100 pics, but I will add more eventually. The cool part about the database is that you can comment on pictures and you can also rate them from 1-5 (5 being the highest, 1 being the lowest). I also credited the photographer of the photo for every picture.
I was pretty shocked when I found that Diego and Laura commented on my cat's photo. I had no idea they even went to my site. Anyway, you can check my live pictures database here. Enjoy.
