1. The prices of books are listed on them. I don't make them up.
2. Do not EVER use that phrase. In my presence or out of it.
3. When confronted with being told #2, do not then say, "Well, you're not Jewish, ARE you?!"
4. Yes, yes, I am -- BUT THAT ISN'T THE POINT.
5. If you then take a breath and say you should have me over to dinner sometime, do not be surprised if I decline.

One woman had very overpriced self-published books in the shop I had already decided not to renew with her as she'd insisted on 80/20 instead of bookstore standard of 60/40. It took 2 years to sell just 4 of those books, and they took up valuable space. SHE LIVES NEXT DOOR TO ME. OMG, the look in her eyes when she found out I was Jewish after her remarks and then tried to cover for it. No lady, not eating at your house AND not renewing our contract. You can go home and blame it on the Jew Lady. lol
