History Class

Today I started summer school and I have just been dreading it. It's the US in the 20th Century and while, I do enjoy history, I just can't get excited about going to school straight from work 2 days a week for 3 hours. It keeps me up past my bedtime. ;)

Anyway, we were discussing Imperialism and "The New Manifest Destiny." At the end of the class, the professor opened his web browser and said "I want to show this. Here's a comedian who's really funny and really knows his history."

He showed the bit from Dress To Kill "Do you have a flag?"

I'm on board with any professor who can fit Eddie into a lecture. :)

EDDIE

Some of my course mates got to meet Eddie in Sheffield this weekend. How jealous am I!? And how did I not know he was going to be here...gutted

80 icons

I was rewatching some of his shows a few days ago and the next thing I knew, I was making icons. :P

They're, um, kinda all the same because I didn't have much time, but I hope you enjoy anyway. And OKAY, yes, #43 was just thrown in because otherwise it wouldn't be a nice even number. ;)

Sexie vs Live from Wembley?

Out of curiosity, has anybody here seen both Sexie and Live from Wembley? How do they compare? I've seen clips from both on Youtube and it *seems to me* that Wembley has the edge, but it's impossible to tell without watching them all the way through.
Thoughts?
