When I saw LJ user icons with coffee and such, I suddenly missed hanging out at Coffee and Tea Leaf so much.

Those times I have had too many cups of Japanese cherry tea.

The time Dom was there before we had a long chat session with Sacha.

The time I met up with Sacha, Mario and JM before going to Neil's house.

The times Kel talked about some of his troubles.

The time Charo, JM and I met up after Charo helped me pick a skirt.

The times JM and I had long talks there.

I know -- JM and I were there last December 23. But I miss the times we used to hang out there pretty often. The way I miss walking around Makati. Though the walk around Manila when we went to Doulos probably made up for that. *laughs*

Anyhow, I must go bug Liebchen about hanging out there again one of these days :)

I keep forgetting to blog about it but I was in Pisay last Thursday. They had an ACLE! WOW. Pisay - may ACLE na! ;)

It was about blogging :) As my friends would say, it's going to be a fun talk for me because it is about a topic I like a lot. I have been blogging for quite some time already and it's already part of my life, in a sense. Remembering those Parajournal days, the Deadjournal days and all those other blogs -- it's really something.

ksolaris is one of the people I met through blogging. But we haven't officially met in person :)
barcelona_pho is so far and yet I am glad that we could somehow bridge that distance through LJ and chatting on MSN Messenger hahaha. And her mom sometimes asks me questions about Linux while we chat!
I miss my Pisay friends and I am glad I get to know how they are doing through their blogs. Some of them are on LJ so that's really cool too :D
And I got to know jmibanez through LJ so I can say that blogging is lurve ;)
Funny how I got in touch with old friends and acquaintances through blogs. I even got the job at Eversun through blogging :D

Anyhow... I digress.

Going back to Pisay brought back memories. Jason was there and I was trying to poke his tummy the way I used to when we were still students. I can't because he's just too quick to evade me hahaha. Ma'am Xavier was there and I introduced her to Sacha's mom. Sacha and Ma'am Monix really look alike. Petite, chinita and they are so bubbly!

I met Mia that morning too. Glad to meet another Pisay person! I am looking forward to reading more of her blogs in the coming days :D

The students were, as I expected: a bit ma-chika with their seatmates. Hahaha. I was once a high school student! And that is something I have anticipated already. Of course they had laughs as I told them about Geocities pages we have made in the past. The anime shrines! They thought Sailor Moon wasn't really cool but heck, it was... Back in high school we thought it was! I still think that Luna (the cat) was cute though ;)

There were a lot of sidecomments. (Duh. These are smart kids who probably knew all about blogging anyway!) One of the funny ones I got was "'Di na ako mag-li-linux!" ("I won't use Linux!") when I was having trouble setting up Picard (my laptop). It was Picard acting berserk again. Oh well, at least I now know that it could talk with the projector! Hahahhaa. The next time I get invited to speak, I could use my laptop! Wheeeeeeeee!

I sort of envy the students in Pisay. They have ACLE! We didn't have one before. We had various symposia but the topics weren't so cool all the time. That day, they even had bands like Kala! Waaah! Inggit...
