I'm happy. It gives me hope to know that our country has finally embraced diversity, it gives me hope to know that so many people have become inspired and emotional over this election, and it gives me hope to know that my child will truly be born in a year of change.

This is history in the making and every single one of us will remember this for the rest of our lives.

Otherwise, you people would get to see a pikchur of my belly. =)

We has a first appointment for Oct 10th. I was hoping it would be sooner and it probably could be if I went with another doctor, but I got an awesome referral from a friend who just had a baby. So, we'll just have to see this doctor, unless he doesn't live up to his alleged awesomeness.

The boy won't let me buy baby stuff yet. He is made of evil. Doesn't he know that baby needs a new pair of shoes????
