Misty Blue 6/3/03 - 9/23/10
Today was officially one of the worst days of my adult life. I lost one of the constant unconditional love that I've had in my life. Misty, my loving puppy of seven years, ruptured a disk in her spine and I could not afford the surgery. It would be cruel and selfish to have her hang on until I could. So instead, I held her until she took her last breath with minimal suffering. These were my last moments with her today...

And the very last moment before she went to sleep:
It felt like she looked at me with understanding eyes. While there was some comfort in that, it was still heartbreaking
She left us with many wonderful memories... (6yrs ago):

La la how the life goes on...
Yep, life goes on. The times we shared were great and I'll always treasure the memories. But reality is that many I have friended are no longer really friends and there are some who have even moved on to new journals. I'm not pushing off blame. I know to have friends, you need to be a friend. And for one reason or another, life hasn't afforded me the time or energy to keep up with everyone that I used to. =(
That said, this is a friends cut. Maybe that looks silly because I dont often post or comment. -You can use this moment to cut me from your journals as well. Anything that I dont mind for the public's eye will go public. The rest will obviously not. If life got away from you and you still wanna be friended, then drop me a line. But let's not fool ourselves, ok?
I says what I mean and mean what I says... I don't just friend anybody on my personal journal because of personal entries. And I hope even though we may not talk like we once did, no love is lost. Life happens. You all should know that I'm not 12 and won't be talking smack under cover of locked posts. That's not me.
May life take you all on many great adventures. And thanks for the good times. =)

Busy summer to say the least though I can't say it's been as much fun as summers past. Then again, it could always be worse. Hope the lot of you are having good ones.
Fall is on the way and things should settle down for me. Not that I've kept up with everyone really well but I try. Real life can be rather distracting and a fangirl, I'm sadly not.
Anyways! Peace and hair grease People!
