This is a community for serious fans of Bob Dylan. What makes a "serious" fan? Are you so into Dylan that people call you obsessed? Do you know all the words to his songs? Try to learn everything about the man that you can? Insert Dylan lyrics into your conversations? Is the main factor of someone's coolness whether or not they like Dylan? If so, join! The purpose of this community is to allow a place where extreme Dylan fans can discuss the man.
You can discuss anything Dylan-related here. This includes discussions about his influences. You're free to post pictures, but please do so under an lj-cut. If you don't know what an lj-cut is or how to make one, the LJ FAQ explains it here. I encourage sharing bootlegs and lesser known songs (Dylan songs, songs that Dylan has referenced or has been influenced by, Dylan covers, etc.), however please don't share songs that are the well-known album versions that one can easily find. The community has a shared Gmail account (dylanisreligion@gmail.com) in which members can send and download these songs. The password is in a friends-only post and can be given to you once you join the community.
