I have, um, feelings about this episode, so I made
shinyopals give me some impartial questions and tried not to editorialize them.
1. What did you think of Martha's friendship with what's-his-name?
2. Do you think the ensemble cast here worked?
3. What did you think of the attempt to use real time? When you first saw the episode title were you expecting a cheeky reference to The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy only to have your dreams shattered by a sentient sun?
4. What did you think about the scene where Martha (finally) gets her TARDIS key?
5. Who the fuck thought that security system was a good idea? I mean, really?
6. This episode seems to have some callbacks to The Impossible Planet/Satan Pit, what with the trapped-on-a-space-ship thing, the mysterious force possessing people, the hideous orange spacesuit and the "believe in me!" thing. What did you think about that? Was it well done?
7. Ten doing maths: hottest thing ever, y/y?
8. If you were about to die falling into a sun, WHAT WOULD YOU SAY TO YOUR MOTHER? XD
