Angst-Free Zone

I'll be honest - doing a journal like this really isn't my thing. My life doesn't have too much drama, I'm not always good at telling stories, and I have nary an ounce of angst in my whole body. My career has pushed most of my deeper thoughts aside. And, whenever I feel like I've stumbled upon a great truth, I usually just get right back up and keep on moving.

Frankly, I'm pretty boring and stable. A whole lot of the time, anyway. I mean, like everyone, I do have my moments.

My name's Bill. I live in Bloomington, Illinois and I work for Country Insurance. I grew up in the town of Munster, Indiana right up near Chicago. I went to college at Illinois Wesleyan and graduated with a BA in Psychology, minoring in religion. For a while, I went to graduate school, working towards my Master's, but ran out of both money and interest. Nowadays, I mostly read books, play games, and hang out with my friends. On weekends, I frequently hit people with fake weapons. Oh, and cookies are my secret weakness.

That's about all I can think of for now. Hopefully the rest of this journal isn't all boring.

So - why would you want to read it? I don't know. Mostly, this journal's for me, and that's my primary audience. But maybe you'd like a dose of boring normalcy. Maybe you'll find something of interest within. Maybe you'll decide I seem like a pretty good person, and you'd like to know more about me. After all - I like my life pretty well, and you just might, too.
