Author's Note: It's a little corny, almost more poetry than drabble and I normally don't write this romance type stuff, but after seeing Doomsday, I really needed this little bit of therapy.
Summary: He said I love you.
He said I love you.
Maybe not the words, but it was there. She saw it in the depth of his eyes. She heard it when he spoke her name.
He said I love you.
But she had always known. It was behind every maniacal grin, every shout of joy. It was there each time he held her hand.
He said I love you.
Said as if it was something he had always meant to say, but never before dared. His voice catching as he knew he was also saying goodbye.
He said I love you.
Then he was gone.
