I'm really excited that you're writing for me and I'm sure I'll love anything you write as long as you don't hit any of my DNWs. I'd love treats as well!


Because I've heard prompts can be helpful to some writers, I've offered some further down in this letter. However, you write what you like. I want you to have fun and to not feel too stressed! None of us needs any more stress these days.

I do ship many of my requested characters, but if you're not feeling that, of course write what speaks to you! Most of my prompts are/can be gen and I will be just as happy to receive genfic as I would shipfic.

My prompts are mostly from canon, but I love AUs and welcome ones that don't hit my  AU DNWs

A Society of Gentlemen

 David Cyprian

David mentions loving the power he has because he's Lord Richard's man and I'd love to hear more about that.

In my opinion David Cyprian came off tougher and scarier in A Fashionable Indulgence and Seditious Affair than in his own book. I'd love to hear from characters like Zoe and Jon and Will- even the servants in Richard's house.

Just why they are so afraid to cross him? For example, situations like when Zoe is fearful of losing the mortgage on Millay's.

In the first two books he's especially fierce about Dominic being obeyed/making sure he stays out of trouble. He's described as furious in Seditious Affair about Dominic's black eye. What exactly did he say to Jon and Will? Or do?

Let me see inside his head including any jealousy that might lurk there. How does he really feel about Dominic?

The problems he has to clean up. Ricardians behaving badly?

Characters referring to him as foxy David.

I'd also enjoy seeing the reaction of the others who aren't already aware of Richard and David's relationship. Especially Francis lol Making David a Ricardian and/or having him join them sometimes.

Maybe at Quex's or Arrandene. Maybe David 's reluctant until Richard (and maybe Silas or any other character in the know) persuades him. David calling the Ricardians by their first names and vice versa.

Or more about David and Richard's European trip. Did Richard ever explain the reason he has a fox in his official portrait? Maybe he told Philip a great big whopper which would be, what I wonder? ... or maybe the truth?

A Charm of Magpies

Lucien Vaudrey     Stephen Day    Frank Merrick  (Leonora Hart -optional details- only add her if it works for you!) 

I'm fascinated about Lucien's time in China so anything about what he and Merrick and Leonora got up to would be great. Tom's not in tags but feel free to add him also. Maybe Lucien and Frank tell stories to Stephen and Jenny (if you want to add her)?

Anything about how competent and powerful Stephen is. I'm not requesting Jackdaw, but he had some great scenes in that book as well showing both qualities.

Cases/experiences 

Maybe Stephen has to save Lucien (again). This time with Merrick and Leonora's help. Or Leonora has a problem only Lucien, Stephen and Merrick can solve.  Or whatever your mind comes up with.

I also like when Lucien cares for Stephen. How Lucien has his own kind of power as a wealthy aristocrat, his life experience (older man) and his being a hard, dangerous man to cross.

Stephen accepting gifts and money. He and Lucien are as good as married (matching rings) so Stephen doesn't have to worry about his pride anymore.

Do Merrick and Leonora comment/have opinions?

I ship Stephen/Lucien but if you want to focus more on Leonora or Merrick and have Stephen and Lucien be more in the background that's cool, too!

Lilywhite Boys Series

Jerry Crozier         Lord Alexander Pyne-ffoulkes    

(John Garland,   Barnaby Littimer- -optional details- only add them if it works for you!) 

I love the idea of Jerry being the monster on a leash and kindhearted Alec holding the leash.

Jerry saying he wants to do something horrible to someone and Alec making an unhappy or disappointed face lol and Jerry's like, never mind then.

But also...

Jerry doing something horrible to someone and Alec saying well that wasn’t ideal, but oh well that’s Jerry for ya!

Jerry and Alec on the streets of London. What kind of people do they come across? I'd love to hear about the lower classes, maybe the East End. Maybe they even come across a certain Jewish billiard hall.

Do they sneak into any parties or events they weren't invited to?

Do they do the tourist thing and go to the Tower of London? Has Jerry ever considered stealing the crown jewels?

Has Jerry ever been tempted to sneak into Buckingham Palace and steal Queen Victoria's jewelry?

I know in Masters in This Hall  Jerry claims to be respectable and law abiding BUT does Jerry steal anything pretty for Alec? Doesn't have to be jewelry. Maybe Alec gets exasperated by the things Jerry brings home. Like a cat and dead things lol

Show more of their social class differences. Times when Jerry isn't so polished- I love seeing that thug side.

If you want to write something w/John and Barnaby added in...

 I need to see Barnaby and John somehow finding out Jerry's beloved is definitely not a dog lol.

Maybe the two couples are out for a stroll and come across each other. If John recognized Jerry in disguise back in '93 maybe he could out on the street no matter what Jerry looks like atm. Those eyebrows!

Jerry all growly and scary to Barnaby and John then "yes dear" with Alec lmao

The four of them on a double date would be hilarious.

A healthy respect and fear of Jerry is a bonus lol

Scarlet and the White Wolf

Scarlet of Lysia     Liall

There are constant descriptions of Liall thinking how beautiful Scarlet is. How desirable he is to everybody, but no showing of that. I want to see show not tell!

So show me some courtiers or servants whomever admiring Scarlet from afar (or up close lol)

Outsider POV of their relationship that's positive towards Scarlet

I'd love a POV of someone with a prejudice of Scarlet realizing he's human :) and not a pet w/o a soul :( maybe becoming friends w/him.

I don't know when the next book is coming out- it has a title,  but the latest book was published in 2018 so...

So,  I would love to hear how they lengthen Scarlet's life.
