Many of you have come to me and told me how much you miss DTL. Believe me, you're not alone, I miss it too. And I'm currently working on getting it back up and running. I can't say when, yet. In fact, I've yet to even figure out just how I'm going to start it up again after such a long absence. Maybe I should start it off with something drastically different. (DTL Babies? Hmmm...) Probably not, but it's a fun thought. Keep checking this spot for more specific updates.
In the meantime, I can tell you that any relaunch of DTL will have a few changes. Currently, I'm working on updating some of the character designs an' I hope you'll like 'em. I can't show you all of 'em now because I'm an evil bastard who likes to keep secrets, but here's an in-development drawing of the new Ryan for starters.

(waiting for it, waiting for it) (everyone "hi kaytm"). i am not sure how i missed that there was a communtiy but i am happy to find it. :) now my question is for DJ..... when do we get our comic back...... we want our comic... must have our comic.... don't make me start reading other stuff.....

A demon ronin with nothing to lose seeks a ki-lin (I warned you it's an amalgam), picking up a band of those as lost as he is along the way. They are wandering souls, criss-crossing this strange land in search of...something.
DJ and I can't come to an agreement on what the new season three/drawingtheline.net site should look like. I want it to be simple, stream lined, and have a maximum of enjoyable content with a minimum of scrolling and navigating. DJ on the other hand wands big, bubbly graphics, themed pages, and a maximum of content crammed into a minimum of sub folders and sub pages, regardless of how busy it gets and how hard it might be to navigate. I want people to come to the website and see it in it's entirety - not just go there, view the comic, giggle for a second, and leave. I want to create a site that has an atmosphere that makes you want to stick around and see what else it has to offer. I want you guys to be able to come to the site and appreciate my work as much as DJ's. So I'm coming to you all for help. I want to know what YOU want to see on the site. What makes a comic website easy on the eyes for you? What kind of navigational features do you like to see?
Just for you guys, since someone showed interest. Here are all five of the DTL posters that will be shown sometime in August just before Season 3. If there really is a lot of interest in making actual posters out of these, I might be willing to re-draw your favorites in a larger size, but I'm talkin' a lot of interest.
Ok, so there are about...what...five people in this community? Guess that makes you guys the die-hard fans :-P Which means, you're just the ones I should be asking. What types of things would you like to see in Season 3 which...should start...in August sometime. I've had requests for more Eric. I can do that. Anything else? Someone actually suggested a page where fans could find out how to contact the cast. I'd have to ask the cast about that, but sure that's a possibility. Got some new characters being worked out, and a new website design that will actually work (unlike what we've got going with keenspace at the moment. Anything else anybody would like to see?
Okay, I'm out. I'm obsessed with Eric. I want more cartoons about Eric puhlease! He rocks my socks - i've been barefoot for 2 years. I want to drool all over his mammouth frame. Thank you for listening - i'm off to take my medication.
