outlaws

Been watching Twitch a lot lately - when my sister started watching, we watched some gamer streams. We then discovered the music streamers, so for the last year I've been getting my music fix that way mostly. lol.

Lately sister has been watching Red Dead Redemption 2 online streamers on a special server, and it is addictive, but confusing because you can't keep up with all the storylines. lol. But anyway, I've started playing RDR2 again on console. Was playing Horizon Zero Dawn last month, but I'm kind of in a rut with it and not enjoying as much so I'll give it a break. I need to NOT start it up again at 10 at night, though! lol.

The thing I love about both games is that they have interesting characters, and incredibly gorgeous scenery.

[community profile] questionoftheday asks: Say you found yourself with storybook-type amnesia and lost your memory tomorrow, how likely do you think you'd be able to regain it just by going through your blog?

My answer:

Not at all likely. lol. Many years ago, maybe it would have been helpful. But lately not at all. I wish that I had more of an aptitude for journaling, especially in a super interesting way. But so far that has not been a good skill of mine! My favorite journaler on LJ used to be muse, but I don't know if her journal is even up any more. but she had a great way of relaying her stories, as well as including a ton of links to explain areas or thoughts, etc. I just was really in love with her style, but not good at emulating it. lol.

We'll see if this one cross posts to LJ correctly. I had to change my PW due to the reporting of a breach over there so the earlier ones from today did not work.

QOTD #2

[community profile] questionoftheday asks: What are your resolutions for the new year? Are you good at keeping your new year's resolutions, or are they gone with the wind within the first week of january?

My answer:

I didn't actually make any resolutions this year. Mostly because they're usually gone within the first week or two anyway. LOL. I will work on some goals for the year, though, soon. Will try to work out some baby steps and turtle steps towards those goals as well. Didn't do that well on last year's big photography goal, so hope to be able to make some inroads on that goal this year. Just need to get a bit of an outline on how to do that better this year.

ELK!

Took my dog out just now and was looking around at all the pretty frosty scenes - then happened to look across the road and saw the herd of elk!! So cool. Took some nicer pics on my digital camera, but don't have time for editing at the moment. But I do have a fuzzy cell phone pic to share. LOL.

They're so pretty in the frosty field with the sun hitting the trees behind them. Such a nice sight to see this morning. ^__^
