Summary: Surprisingly serious story about solo-Gackt's bizarre and needy affair with his Malice Mizer self who tends to show up. Neither of them wears a stitch of clothing except in the title pages and artbook-esque chapter break, but despite this fact and despite how much of the doujinshi is kinky Gackt-on-Gackt action (with different hair styles to tell them apart), the dialogue and story are surprisingly bittersweet.

Summary: Series of short stories, some with a serious overtone and some on the gag side, set during the Merveilles period. All stories feature, in either a direct or indirect fashion, Mana as anywhere from dominant to abusive. Includes a few pages with photos of spectacular Malice Mizer cosplay.

Summary: I honestly have no idea what is going on in this. Haven't stopped to try to read it yet, and like lots of Bachio's stuff, it is full of serious looking into each other's faces and subtle conversation. Also like Bachio's other things, though, it is really pretty!

Summary: Bought this one because of the alluring summary on a now defunct doujinshi site "Hyde is an angel with a broken wing." Two stories with a series of short gags in between (including a Laruku/Evangelion gag which I am yet to figure out). In the first story, an AU called 'lunatic,' Hyde is an angel who comes down during the full moon and gets it on with Sakura, and someone symbolically hacks off one of his wings with a dagger (sexy). In the second story, 'addict,' Sakura and Hyde have a fight and Sakura goes on a drug binge during which he is visited by a smokey, naked vision of Hyde.


咲かない花　CANNOT BLOOM?

Summary: Morbidly hilarious in a badfic kind of way, CANNOT BLOOM? had a friend and I rolling as we rough-translated it. Consists of one story which is AU in the extreme. Hyde is dating the sweet and gentle Yukihiro, but seems to be engaging in some kind of rough trade affair with Tetsu on the side which usually ends with him handcuffed to the bed (I'm not clear yet on whether he intends for their relationship to go this way or not). Imagine his surprise when he discovers that Yukki and Tetsu know each other. He continues this bizarre relationship triangle until cliche tragedy strikes. Ken is also somehow involved, possibly as Hyde's confidant.


NIGHT MARE

Summary: Don't let the Big Hand Syndrome on the cover fool you, the art and story in this doujinshi are lovely! One main story with a couple of mini gags and a short, serious ending story. The main story takes place during the first half of the movie. During sex, Kei gets all nostalgic for about a scar on Sho's arm and flashes back to a mysterious botched job where Sho got the scar. Although we never see what the job was, how it was botched or how Sho ended up injured, we do see a thrilling beginning to Kei and Sho's relationship. The ending story takes place at the near-end of the movie after the shootout with Chan's gang in the abandoned building and focuses on Kei's decision to turn Sho.

満月に吠えろ！ / Howl at the Moon!

Summary: First story is a gag about Kei's diminutive stature which will delight the fangirl in you. Second story goes from cute to sad while exploring Kei and Sho's relationship. Definitely my favorite Moon Child book.

満帆で突っ走れ！ (Sailing with Victory!)
Subject: Pirates of the Caribbean

Summary: I have no idea what goes on in this crazy book so far, but there are a lot of gag comics and most of them seem to involve Will being girlishly head-over-heels for Jack and Jack being slightly wigged out by it. One involves Elizabeth burning Jack's clothes in the signal fire. A cute point is the sticker on the back cover of the book with a comic discussing the arrival of the DVD and the revealing in the cut scene of Jack's bullet scars.

Summary: Again, no real idea. Some of this story takes place as a series of interviews with the characters, such as Kio, the female Zero and Soubi, and at the end there is a scene with a grown Ritsuka sans ears, but that is basically all I can tell you at the moment. :)

Includes two (I think) stories about Fred and George Weasley, including a brain-meltingly adorable flashback to a tiny George accidentally dropping his share of a dessert, at which point Fred cuts his in half and gives his twin the bigger half.
