i was told that i should get a personal art tag so i hereby declare that #trashmann treasure will mark any art that i personally do!

in addition, #rancid ramble will be any longer rambles or rants i have. basically stuff that you might have to dedicate more than a quick skim to get through, usually higher quality material and will weed out my short random bits of chaos.

#funky fiction will be any stories or excerpts of stories i’ll post

#lore landfill will be all worldbuilding stuff, along with headcanons and the like

I work with kids and sometimes we have to do safety lessons with them about like, not telling strangers on the internet your home address or something. And sometimes the kids wont understand why, so you have to impart upon them that, well, some adults want to hurt children. And thats kind of difficult to do, because you have to beat around the bush, both because you dont want to scare them (while still making them understand how serious it is) and because you might lose your job if you explain it too straight forward.

Luckily, for some reason, the villain of one of the most popular franchises with children for the last 10 years happens to be a serial child murderer. So when a kid asks why they shouldnt trust strangers, instead of hand wringing and humhawing my answer out, I can just say "we dont always know when a strange adult has good intentions with children, or when they are William Afton."

This latest Surviving Earth episode feels like Tim Haines held a grudge over everyone nitpicking his term "mammal-like reptiles" for synapsids so he decided to triple down on it, cut out the mammal relation entirely, and lump the Permian into the "Age of Reptiles" moniker as the spiteful cherry on top.

“MAMMAL LIKE REPTILES” PISSES ME OFF SO BAD!

and overall just the whole idea of how animals are lunped into a “sequence” of “primitive” to “advanced” like fish -> amphibians -> reptiles -> mammals ITS SO DUMB

like theyre ALL DIFFERENT and UNIQUE and ADVANCED in their own ways! its such a mammal centric thing to do since the “sequence” is usually categorizing typically mammalian features

but i digress i just wanted to rant for a second
