I’m not happy with the drawing but happy with the painting.
the moment where all my words disappear’d
and nothing of my verses can be found,
the poetry in this epoch of fear
it’s missing the hand to give us guidance,
tragedy left all verses in silence

I’m writing this knowing nobody cares about what I say and this statement will get me in trouble if anybody actually reads it. For about two years I been working on a batman fan comic with the plan of making a sign in the radar of a talent scout from one of the major comic publishers or at least becoming more visible to other people in the comic book fandom. The previews week I started doing ink sketches of the characters and this week I was supposed to start working on the pages of the story properly but now I’m not afraid of cancelling all of it at the eleventh hour and move to a different project, I thought about this my doubts vanished quickly, moving away from this is the best for me.
When I started this project I knew that being seen by a talent scout was a pipe dream and that it will not help me advance my career. I know working on comics professionally would had been a horrible experience but I am a big fan of DC and felt that at least i will get a fun time from this project but what happened last week with the firing of ████████ █████████████ cancellation of her book and even refunding it the issues that had already been shipped has soured me deeply, this project quickly felt like I was rewarding evil, and now I feel good about quitting even if these years or drafting and revising go to waste I just don’t feel it’s right to engage with this fandom on this moment and now I’m very eager to move to something else.
I have not made a comic in a long time, I promise I will invest myself in a new project but that will require some years.

I been making charcoal and chalk sketches the last few weeks.
to prevent scrapping I will no longer scan my works.
