This is a community for anyone who enjoys drawing four-legged canines, is a fan of such art, or just likes disucussing canines in general.
Topics that are allowed include, but are not limited to:
1. Images with four-legged canines, or similar creatures, ie hyenas, tasmanian wolves, maned wolves.
2. Writing including four legged dogs, dog relations, or dog-like creatures.
3. Requests etc for such pictures or writing.
4. Images/Stories looking for critique, or that you're stuck on and looking for suggestions about how to go further. (WARNING: Some people (like me,
vekke) may give harsh critique, so don't post for critique unless you're ready for it, or else specify that you don't want critique that's too harsh. )
5. Discussion about dogs or any canine . . . just anything canine. ;)
6. Tutorials or techniques that you think would be helpful for drawing dogs.
Topics looked down upon are:
1. Images with bipedal creatures. There are plenty of communities for furries/weres etc, we're not one of them.
2. Fan Art/Fanfics . . . fan styles and fan characters are okay (not encouraged, but not disallowed either), but no actual characters from the movie.
3. Non-canine creatures. They're okay if they're not the only focus, but no pictures with non-canines as the main/only focus.
4. Absolutely NO copied art, even if you've asked permission. If you've redrawn/editied/used the exact plot of someone else's art, it's NOT ALLOWED. Although, that pretty much goes without saying. ;)
5. Critique when it's not asked for. You're welcome to ask the artist if you can critique, but don't just pop in with uninivited critique.
6. Equally, critique that isn't helpful isn't allowed. Explain why something's off, or why something's good.
