Stripe Discord server
Ask technical questions to Stripe developers.
You can join the Stripe Discord server to contact Stripe developers for help building your Stripe integrations.
Prerequisites
Before you contact us on Discord, make sure you meet the following requirements:
- You’re a developer.
- You have a technical question about Stripe.
- Your question is about publicly available features.
- You can ask your question in English.
- You’re available to have a real-time conversation.
- You’re comfortable having the conversation in public.

Ask a question
- Click the button to join our Discord server. Join Discord server
- Create a Discord account if you don’t have one, and accept the invitation.
- After joining, go to the #help channel in the sidebar.
- Read the instructions, then select a button at the bottom of the channel that relates to your question. No buttons means the channel is closed. See hours of operation.
- Complete the form with as much detail as possible about your question and submit to create a new thread in the #dev-help channel.
- Open the thread created for your question.
- A Stripe developer will join the thread and help within 15 minutes. You can recognize Stripe developers by the Stripe icon next to their name.
- The thread becomes read-only after it’s solved or becomes inactive. You can start a new thread by going back to the #help channel.

Server rules
While on the Discord server, follow these rules:
- Be respectful of others. There’s no tolerance for any type of harassment, sexism, bigotry, racism, or hate speech.
- Keep conversations professional, on topic, and suitable for work. This server is for Stripe developers to discuss technical matters, integrations, and similar subjects in a safe and friendly environment. Don’t use obscenities, profanity, or inappropriate language.
- We can’t discuss private account issues or any grievances you might have with Stripe. For these matters please contact support.
- Don’t self-promote. You can talk about what you’re building, but don’t do so with the intention of self-promotion or advertising.
- Spam isn’t permitted. Don’t repost the same content multiple times. Don’t contact other people on the server for inappropriate reasons.
- Don’t report Stripe accounts and/or websites here. Stripe considers this harassment and won’t tolerate it. If you have concerns about a Stripe account let us know by contacting support.
- Follow the Stripe Developer Code of Conduct and Discord’s Community Guidelines and Terms of Service.
- Don’t direct-message (DM) Discord users with your questions. Use the #help channel for technical and integration questions, or Stripe support for anything else.
- Buying, selling, or renting Stripe accounts is against Stripe’s Terms & Conditions and will result in banning of your account. Ignore anyone who asks to buy or rent your account.

Stripe developers are available to respond to questions in Discord during the following UTC timezone hours of operation.
